Netanyahu is looking for another war for certain "now" and I don't think Türkiye should not fall into that trap. Netanyahu may well also want to try "test" and to destroy the new Makkah pact as well, so in reality Saudi, and Pakistan have to be ready with more than just words.

If Netanyahu loses the next election, then there may be a chance for the new leadership to take a different course, and withdraw their forces from Lebanon, Syria, West Bank, Gaza, etc. If they don't, then the west can't really complain if they get hammered by their neighbors economically, or politically or even militarily and they shouldn't feel compelled to rush to their aid either as Israel will be a lost cause.

If Netanyahu wins the next election, and he decides to further escalate, then the west won't have reason to complain if Israel gets embroiled into another conflict, but one where they get hammered by their neighbors economically, or politically or even militarily and they shouldn't feel compelled to rush to their aid either as Israel will be a lost cause.

There is a narrow window of opportunity for them to "rescue themselves" by rolling back their occupation forces of Lebanon, Syria, West Bank, Gaza.

The economics of Israel are now starting to look shaky as people leave, to never return and the rise of the unproductive "religious right" ie the Crazies make the economics unmanageable as well. Interesting video on this below.

Israel is an inflection point in her future as a country and the next elections will decide the future for them.

Israel just threatened Turkey

Maybe they should have read the old quote from Russian Empire about the Ottoman Turks

“There is no soldier more dangerous than a Turk who has decided to die.”

When a dog barks at a Wolf his tail is trembling

If your tail trembles don’t bark

And a Turkish Wolf is something to reckon with

Netanyahu probably wants to keep Israel at war in order to stay in power, but Israelis in general are interested in keeping Turkey out of Syria when it comes to bases. It's in their interest that Turkey does not get a strong foothold and military presence anywhere near them. Imagine a couple of Turkish brigades in central Syria. Establishing air bases and deep networks of AA,EW and radars like Syria in Lebanon in the 70s and 80s.

That would be a threat to them. If they let it happen,in a few years the Turkish army could potentially have enough drones, missile artillery, helicopters and soldiers to back up a vanguard of Syrian cannon fodder.

This is all true

However Israel is a pariah and increasingly negatively viewed across the world, even in the U.S

Israel is worried that it won't be able to get positive support in the future especially from Democrats, not to the same extent anyway and especially with the population turning anti Israel

So with the orange bufoon in the white House and Zionist supporters and right wingers in control, the Israelis may feel this is the only time they can actually do something against Turkey and Iran

I think the Israeli feel if they wait, everything goes worse for them

Turkey, Saudi, Pakistan the Arab states start expanding their plans and building resources and weapons

Israel loses support and Zionist backers fall out of public favor

Israeli plans haven't worked out against Iran and they are worried everyone is turning on them

The problem Israel has, is of time. Its support base in the USA is decreasing, it's military capability and advantage is as good as it is ever going to get. It needs to capitalize on its strengths now while it can, to establish as many "facts" as it can on the ground before it loses it's advantages.

The problem Israel has, is that the West, and the USA need a stable Syria for their own geo-political, and economic reasons now ( i.e. oil pipelines/trade routes ) via Syria to Türkiye. They have embraced Syria and its not so desirable leaders for those reasons, and they are not going to be happy with Israel destabilizing Syria at all now. That is the window under which Türkiye will operate under and Israel has to be mindful of.

Israel needs chaos in Syria for multiple reasons, including hopes of reviving the IMEC route and also of trying to force oil pipelines over its territory(https://www.reuters.com/business/en...-touts-oil-pipeline-bypass-hormuz-2026-07-07/) and not Syria and of course Greater Israel.

It's not all about the presence of Türkiye but how Syria will help transform regional connectivity and trade routes sidelining Israel, to the determent of Israel that is "also" the issue.
