I don't think so Mohammed. HTS in Syria is like Hezbollah in Lebanon. Locals and international community will try to force them out of government and playing any security or political role at all. HTS would be suicidal to attack Iraq. They aren't expansionist. Not capable of it. And also imo don't intent to. It's not their country.

And that would mean to not talk transitionary period anytime soon until security situation on the ground is secured. What these powers will do is try to force a 'transitionary period' via military means and installing a pre -selected leader who is currently outside of Syria.

There is no political transition period without a comprehensive Syria with no fragmentation. Unless it is to get Kurds to reintegrate back into Syrian society and state. And also for Alawites. Under rebel control. Then a political initiative can take off.
