The objective behind meetings in Qatar, right now, is to stop rebel offensives and full takeover of Syria and make a full pause, while put forward some political initiative to buy time to reinforce the status quo.

It's a trap for Syrian opposition. Syrians would be making a mistake falling for it.

Syrian opposition has no say in the Doha talks. The talks are being directed by the Turkish government. They will speak for the various rebel groups.

Syrians have to secure their country.

That will take a minimum of 3-5 years:

1.) Don't worry about political transition right now
2.) Do not engage Israel at Golan Heights due to any gaslighting by any sides - it's a lose-lose situation
3.) Get your entire country back and secured and develop your military forces
4.) Make military service mandatory
5.) Don't attack Iraq
6.) Don't attack or demolish any shrines

And that would mean to not talk transitionary period anytime soon until security situation on the ground is secured. What these powers will do is try to force a 'transitionary period' via military means and installing a pre -selected leader who is currently outside of Syria.

There is no political transition period without a comprehensive Syria with no fragmentation. Unless it is to get Kurds to reintegrate back into Syrian society and state. And also for Alawites. Under rebel control. Then a political initiative can take off.
As much as it stupid could this sound now it would be real war and challenge for HTS, i have also fears that outer forces will plant things before any solid consolidation.

There are reports Lebanese Hezbollah is fighting in Homs. But Russia is very active on that front. And so are Syrian government forces.

Now there are reports of 'Syrian' soldiers being sent from Iraq to Damascus. Rebel sources are skeptical and claim these are Iraqi Shia militias and potentially IRGC:

The US is overseeing that and so are Arab governments. They don't mind to slow down offensive and force another stalemate. And they are definitely in agreement with each other to prevent a total rebel takeover of Syria.

There is no freedom for Syria as long as the SDF are present on its land.

They are agents of the Americans and Israel, and they steal Syria's oil resources.

The fall of Bashar is not complete without the fall of the SDF. There is no future for Syria under their control.
