Turkey Syria - News & Updates

Sunni and Shia have to show maturity. And they are. Minus the people raging on the internet. Iran is showing maturity here. Especially after vicious assault on Gaza.

A free Syria could be beneficial for the region. Yemen and Iraq conflict have been resolved. This is the last one.

It will be a test for Arabs too. To see what they will do if Israel or US bully Syrians. And also if they try to interfere in the will of the people with their old ways.

Yemen is not resolved, but it is frozen.

The West is going to get tired of Zionist Jews that keep scaring Europeans and Americans from engaging with the Middle East. Europeans are familiar with Muslims and Islam now. So are Americans. There is a future of cooperation that will happen between both regions. Israel keeps trying to sabotage that because it will lose importance and won't be of any strategic need for the West.

They plan, Allah plans, and Allah is the best of planners.

وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ

Who would have thought 2 weeks ago what happened could have happened, and as fast as it did happen.

Syrian Auschwitz about to be liberated.

I would say it's resolved. Houthi's are Yemeni and not going anywhere. Saudis realize this and are focused on vision 2030. Internally it's a pause but a serious one respected by both sides. There is a split but no major hostilities for awhile now.

its over, This is the Hezbollah controlled town that the logistics hub right on the lebanese border, if they were able to take it, that means there are likely no Hezbollah fighters left in Syria, as they have withdrawn back into Lebanon.

Yes, remember the Israel-Hezbollah cease-fire is 60 days; Inshallah, Israel will be free to carry out what it needs afterward if it chooses to do so since there will be a lack of supply replenishment for Hezbollah. Hopefully, Israel can grab more land and expand its frontiers.

This is a wonderful Christmas gift handed to Netanyahu.

No, nothing like that will happen inshallah. The Zionist entity would be foolish to open that front again, as it will be an additional complication for them on top of things not being settled in Syria and the Lebanese Army deployed on the Lebanese border now.

Nobody can seriously defend Assad and what he did to his people but replacing him with Al Qaeda affiliated nutjobs is not much better.

Turkey and Iran could have sat down and resolved their differences but both sides are hostage to nationalism. They go for short term gains, unable to grasp a long term vision of regional stability and peaceful coexistence, creating the regional equivalent to EU, USA, etc.

So they fight, Muslim against Muslim, and Israel/US just laugh and laugh and laugh...

Syrian rebels must be smart or they throw away every effort they made over the decade:

1.) Don't incite the Sunni population of Lebanon
2.) Don't threaten Hezbollah in Lebanon if Hezbollah stays out
3.) Don't attack any shrines. Even if you don't believe figures are actually buried there
4.) Focus on your security. Challenges will be from US and Israel. US refusing to give up control of east Syria and Israel playing dirty games.
5.) Potentially open up to understandings with Iran and Hezbollah. To keep peace. And Iran may be source of funds/weapons if international community and especially US sanctions you. Iran cares about its interests. It's interest is to preserve Hezbollah but also potentially make you guys a distraction to Israel for their nuclear program.

You are not in a strong state but pivotal for long term change in the region. Now also don't try to bring some selected dictator from the West. Unless you want to end up like the Kurds. Living off foreign funds and not having proper autonomy.

You’re very wise, mashallah. Hopefully, the people in charge will have the same wisdom.
