NEW/IMPORTANT — Israeli retired Brigadier General Jacob Nagel, who prepared the Nagel Report warning of war with Turkey:
“After October 7, we said that we must be ready for changes. This also applies to countries like Turkey, Egypt and Jordan.”
“Turkey has a much greater presence in Syria today than the Russians did in the past; and it has goals.”
“It does not necessarily mean that it will happen, but Turkey is an element that we need to be prepared for.”

The discussion about a potential Turkish-Israeli confrontation is futile. The Israelis are still focusing on Iran but Egypt is getting increased attention which is not a good sign.

Its very interesting to me that they view Egypt as a threat, despite Egypt having a treaty with them, recognizing them, buying gas from them, and Sisi being a doormat. I wonder if the basis for this is Egypt's resistance to not letting the Israelis make the Palestinians move to the Sinai.
Its also interesting that Saudi is not on the list despite no recognition, but Turkey and even Egypt are seen as hostile or potential threats. Its goes to show that this whole shtick that Arab turkey haters use of Turkey in the past recognizing Israel, whereas their state hadn't when we see that even without recognition that have more friendly relations under the surface than Turkey has over the surface.

I hope the Iranians continue to wear the Israelis down and keep them busy while Turkey builds its strength.
We need the Zios to be kept busy, so they don't have free time to conspire against Turkey. As long at they are preoccupied with Iran, they will not have enough time and resources to conspire against Turkey.
If more fronts other than Syria open up, for example in Jordan, it will dislevel them further. They are already occupied with Lebanon, Yemen.
Consolidating Syria is the most important thing for Turkey, building a stronger United Syria. The Israelis are plotting to break it apart and use different factions to keep Syria divided, whether its the PKK, or other elements.
If Syria can consolidate and rebuild and have strong relations with Turkey, in the long run, the dynamics of the region will be fundamentally different.
