If new Syrian administration had been an enemy of Türkiye, he would support them.

He is both, he also hates the Islamic gov of Iran, because they are Muslim. Its not just anti-Turkish. There are other examples others have provided on him being anti-muslim that has nothing to do with Turks.

It's pretty incredible how influential Arab tribes are. They can mobilize their people rather quickly. Houthi's of Yemen are also an Arab tribe. I knew there's a lot of tribes in the region but didn't know they were well armed, militarily trained since young ages, and so influential.

If anybody can cause a regional uprising it will be these tribes which are based in Jordan/Syria/Iraq/Saudi Arabia/Yemen/etc...

If Israel targets these tribes in Syria, it could cause something big. And now that Assad is gone Syria could become a global jihad front against Israel which would be the first time in Israel's history it has dealt with something like that.

Now it should be said Turkey played the biggest role in the survival of the Syrian Opposition. The Syrian Opposition may have not survived had Turkey not drew Idlib/Aleppo areas as redlines and militarily deployed and fought to prevent previous government/Russia/Hezbollah from taking over those remaining areas.

Turkey also paid big economic price sheltering many Syrians and providing aid to Syria over the years.

I don't know if they provide military support and if so, what kind. Haven't really followed this conflict in awhile.

US is worried Arab camp unite around this issue, if Israel invades Syria. Or if they sabotage the new government.

Egypt is more closely aligned with Gaza and concerned about its security while the Saudi-led Arab camp are more invested and ideologically aligned with new Syrian government than they are over Gaza. They may actually do something over Syria.

All these tribes have centuries old signed pacts and they still respect. For example few decades back , Saudi Royal family signed a pact with Houthi tribes, which MBS broke few years ago and attack them. That was tribal pact.

I don't believe Syrian Druze are under any such threat. All it is is government wants them to integrate into state government, the security guards and statesmen ruling Suwayda would still be Druze.

Hijri refuses that federalist like model and is basically ruling a state within a state thanks to Israeli support.

But apparently Israel doesn't want to fund their salaries and provide them aid and threw them under the bus.

Now Druze are upset at Netanyahu. He threw them under the bus. They should refuse to serve in Gaza is they were smart.

Then he encourages them to try ruling their own state in southern Syria. And they got carried away and started a fight with Bedioun tribes thinking they're all powerful with Israeli backing.

Now Israeli Jews and Netanyahu said actually sorry, we use you and not other way around. We aren't going to pick a fight with Arab tribes, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Syria. And we won't supply your salaries anymore if US or others don't do it. Good bye.

They are trying to activate the Israeli lobby to change Washington's outlook. Anytime one of these snakes comes to Washington this happens, where the donors put pressure and suddenly the US stance is changed.
