so , Turkiye is developing many projects and purchasing Fighter Jets in order to establish a balance of power in the region

What is the status of 230 F-16 Ozgur-2 upgrade? are all turkish F-16 is on par or above block 52+ level?

Also you mentioned 40 F-16 viper? is there any deal done yet? to my knowledge there is still no deal on that?

Yes - kind of the whole point of the procurement. It will be the longest BVR in the Turkish airforce until local designs achieve operational service.

Deliveries under the F-16 Block-30 OZGUR-2 Project are targeted to be completed between 2025-2027, while deliveries under the F-16 Block-40/50 OZGUR-2 project are targeted for completion between 2028-2030

All Turkish F-16s will have Block70 capability with

-- MURAD AESA Radar
-- FEWS Electronic Warfare Suite
-- Data Link
-- 185+/200+ km GOKBORA and GOKHAN ramjet powered air to air Missiles

It is aimed to equip F-16s with a unique mission computer with national avionics , , national data link , national EW Suite , national OFP software and indigenous weapons

OZGUR-2 modernization will be more capable than Hellenic Air Force VIPER modernization ( with the OZGUR-2 modernization, we will offer our F-16s more than 20 technologies )

The US Congress approved the sale of F-16s to Türkiye, but negotiations regarding the installation of Turkish-made electronic and radar systems and the provision of source codes have prolonged negotiations , and pricing is now being renegotiated

IMO, opinion we don't need F-16Vs. We can pump out hundreds of Kızılelmas with that money. F-16 is no match for Kızılelma.

Your always providing biased sources. Your own people in charge of the programs. What will they say? "It will suck and be a waste of money"? "It will be trash?" What do you expect them to say? "It will be good,but not as good as F-16V"?

It's like going to a company and ask "Do you sell good products here?" No,we sell trash. Of course they'll say "our product is better than the other guy's".

When did I say Germany will "not" allow you to get the Eurofighter? Back before Merz got elected,I said "we'll see". Because all you were jumping up and down considering the Eurofighter a done deal. Which was anything from done before the elections. So I kept telling you not to draw conclusions yet.

On the contrary,the biggest supporter of Turkey in the EU has been Germany. A tradition dating back to the the late 19th century.

Sooner or later? That's the main point here: SOONER or LATER? How much later? That makes all the difference. Because right now,you're lagging behind. Isn't that why you rushed to buy Eurofighter with Meteor?

At this moment i'm completely against buying any non-stealth fighter jet. In 2-3 years Kızılelma will reach it's full capacity.

Lastly, it flew at 0.8 mach speed. Some other test will follow.

• 0,85–0,9 Mach tests
• Performance tests with full load
• High AoA maneuvers
• Joint mission scenerios with manned aircraft.

Than it will be ready. So, why should we invest in a 4th Gen fighter jet while we are going to have a 6th gen fighter jet in 2-3 years? Forget F-16 or EF, it has potential to down even F-35s or F22s with it's Karat sensor suit.

Even If you order EF T5s today, you will not get them before 2033.

At this moment i'm completely against buying any non-stealth fighter jet. In 2-3 years Kızılelma will reach it's full capacity.

Eurofighter will be our most effective platform for our dogfighting needs, although today Air Forces focused on stealth Fighter Jet and BVR combat


If we can, let's buy 40 F-35s
44 Eurofighters , 40 F-35A and 230 OZGUR-2 modernized F-16s ( 314 manned Fighter Jets with AESA Radar will be enough )
The interim solution will be sufficient until fleets of the KAAN 5th gen Fighter Jet with indigenous turbofan Engine


We have an advantage that no other Country in the region has.
KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 will be game changer in the region
