Jets from Qatar and Oman can possibly be here next year. Oman ones need an upgrade from Trance 3, but Qatari jets should be brand new.

Great interim buy and looks like Turkieye did a deal where they get all these planes relatively quickly, no danger of getting them delivered 4-5 years from now when it's enemies will have moved on.

Captor E MK2 is a hell of a radar. Combined with Meteor it will give them first look and kill in their local area. Especially more so if they can extend the range of Meteor

I do not want to go off-topic, but are there any info what types will replace the Typhoons in both Qatar's and Oman's Air Forces?

Turkiye buys 44 Eurofighters from The UK , Qatar and Oman for £8 billion

20 Eurofighters from The UK
12 Eurofighters from Qatar
12 Eurofighters from Oman

Is there an official confirmation for the 12 each from Qatar & Oman?

The Eurofighter is a better air dominance fighter, both Kinematically, its engines are better, it has a better thrust to weight ratio. Its AESA radar is better and a newer generation, with a longer range, and a wider detection angle.

It costs more to operate and its Air to Ground capabilities are not as mature as the Rafale, but thats not why Turkey pursued it, Turkey has plenty of platforms for the Air to ground role.

Additionally, Typhoon seems to have a better roadmap for the growth of the platform gained through BAe partnership with the F35 programme aswell as the other EU countries, the French however are on their own with limited potential for innovation. ,The variant that Turkieye is buying is built on top version offered to Finland, and it will be a beast. Dassault has nothing close to coming to the new variant that Turkieye will get as part of this deal.
