From what I read today,Turkey will receive the first Eurofighters from Britain in 2030-2031

If not for Erdogan, TuAF would have been looking for training and integration of F35 in its inventory post 2030.
But here they are, re-spending the resources on the same F16 level technology
Since Kaan is post-2040 type of thing if everything goes smoothly, Israel would be operating Sixth Gen Fighters (F-47) at that time.

All this for S400 that can't even protect Turkey from some random IRGC commander firing Ballistic Missiles on its Bases.

The stupid mofos made the Radar too big. lol, it doesn't fit in the nose, so either you redesign the nose or make the radar smaller, but making the radar smaller is hard without compromising performance. Making the nose smaller is easier on new jets, but retrofitting older jets is much harder.

About this,in this whole Iran missile war of the last few weeks,Turkey has been substantially absent. Everybody has been shooting down missiles and drones. Turkey hasn't show down not even a single missile or drone yet. in all 2025 we've had big talk about the Steel Dome and indigenous systems like Hisar,Siper as well as S-400. Infographic after infographic,maps and statics showing the coverage and capabilities of S-400. Three missiles were over Turkish air space,all three shot down by foreigners. Turkey is Qatar's ally,yet failed to provide AA protection to them.

Even the Greek force in Saudi Arabia managed to shoot down two missiles with the Patriot PAC-2.

This story was handled bad by the Turkish government and I'm baffled,because honestly the last few years they've been extremely quick to react to geopolitical events. They usually rush to show they are dependable allies and we're left behind going like "why are Turks taking all the opportunities and we're just standing doing everything too late?"

It was quite baffling. If you ignore Erdogan,Fidan usually acts fast and to the point.

They were never going to give Turkey F-35s, if they didn't use S-400s as an excuse, they would have used the Syria intervention against the PKK, where they did the Armenian genocide thing. Then they blocked F-16s as well. With the Zionist lobby and Lindsey Graham and now threats to Turkey, why would anyone thing the F-35 was an option.

And Who the fk would Turkey use the F-35 again? Israel? you think they would allow it to happen, where to operate the platform, you need to put in mission codes from Lockheed and need updates and something that can be killed remotely. Were they going to allow it against Greece? no So who? Does Turkey need F-35s to fight Iran? why would Turkey fight Iran? Do we see a war with Russia soon? no.

S-400s are not active, they are in storage.

SIPER 1 is not an anti ballistic missile platform.

As of right now, Turkey does not have an Anti Ballistic Missile System of its own that is NATO compatible.

Anti ballistic Missile Capability will show up with SIPER Block 2 and Block 3.

You seem eager to see Turkey activate the S-400s knowing the complications surrounding the current agreement with the US to not activate them.

If Turkey needs it, it will use it. Till then, the Spaniards have Patriots deployed in Turkey. And Turkey is not a primary target, if anything the missiles are being fired into Turkey BECAUSE of the Anti Ballistic missile radar deployed by the US and others, that they are currently passing off the targeting data to the Israelis, and their defenses elsewhere. Germans deployed Patriots to Turkey, you think its to help Turkey? We remember how much "solidarity" they showed previously when they withdrew batteries, no its to scan and share the data with Israel, not to help Turkey.

Ideally, Turkey would not have a single foreign equipment deployed in its territory, and be using its own Radars, where it doesn't have to pass off targeting data to the Israelis or anyone else, and Turkey would only pass on the minimal data on missile heading for NATO territory as part of its NATO treaty obligations, or shooting things down.

Turkey has no interest in helping Israel, a state that has been making reckless statements talking about attacking Turkey next.
