Are there plans for beyond Siper 2?

I remember reading something.

Anti-ballistic Missisle capability will be added


And by adding a booster, the range of the SIPER Block2 missile can be increased to over 250 km



in 2023 TÜBİTAK SAGE stated that the range of the SİPER Product-2 missile will increase by 1.5-2 times with the booster.

There is no point in upgrading the terminators I think, they are set to be retired soon.

Though there is a need for an Air Launched Ballistic missile, I think going forward, it would make more sense to put such a missile of an Akinci XL or maybe create a smaller missile for the current Akinci with a 1 munition max payload for an underbelly configuration instead of the 2 on wings current configuration with smaller missiles.

A missile similar to the Israeli LORA should be developed by reducing the length of the TAYFUN missile from 6.5 meters to 5.3 meters and its weight from 2300 kg to 1600 kg

The AKINCI XL would be able to carry this missile with that weight class.

Lets see how many hours the F-4 Terminators have left, its a useful platform but its reaching end of life.

There are advantages to using a drone as well, compared to an F-4, Drones are more expendable than a pilot and can loiter for far longer. Neither the F4 nor the Akinci will likely survive in contested airspace, so that point is moot, both would be used either in standoff range or they will be used when Air Defense has been suppressed.

The cost of operations is far cheaper in the Akinci than with the F-4.

I'm not saying they shouldn't develop the ALBM, they should definitely develop, I've been saying that since before the whole ROCKS things made ALBMs popular. Its going to be modular anyways, so if its ready they can fire it from an Akinci, F-16 or an F-4.

What I'm saying is that the F-4 itself is not worth upgrading(in terms of avionics, engines, etc etc), its reaching its end of life so its not economical.

With the F-35s entering active service, plans were on the agenda to decommission all F-4Es in the inventory by 2020 but Turkiye has shelved its plan to remove F-4Es from its inventory for now while having been removed from the F-35 project

there is no problem as the flight life of the F-4E TERMINATORs which have been modernized to exceed the 2030s.

TURAF can use F-4E TERMINATORS in the next 10 years
and F-4E TERMINATOR can carry 2 x ALBM similar to Israeli ROCKS and AIR-LORA

USAF still using 1962 model B-52Hs and to remain in service in the next 20 years

1977 model 5,000th F-4E is belong to the Turkish Air Force now
