Our plan is to equip all our F16s with Aselsan MURAD radar and GOKHAN ramjet missile. if we can achieve this until Greek F35 aquistion there is no Greek superiority in that field. When(if ever) they get F35 we would be very close to put KAAN in service.

What Embargo? That is new news?!

Canadians have cut off arms exports for the most part towards Turkey. There were issues with getting Wescam sensors for the UAVs but Turkey made its own, I believe for the HAVA SOJ Turkey tried buying planes from Bombardier and the govt blocked it. I'm guessing Turkey found an alternative, maybe a Bombadier plane from a 3rd party or probably buying an Embrair.

According to a former agent of Greece says France did sell us out with Meteor missiles:ROFLMAO:.

F35 Turkey back in the game? :ROFLMAO:

Congress may consider revisiting the sale of F-35s to Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. Turkey was one of the eight original F-35 international partners on the F-35 program and is a member of NATO. The United States removed Turkey from the F-35 program in July 2019 for its purchase of the S-400 surface to air missile system—an acquisition which caused concern that Russia could obtain information concerning the F-35’s stealth capabilities. The U.S. imposed sanctions on Turkey using the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (P.L. 115-44).205 In January 2024, the U.S. resumed sales of F-16s to Turkey, which has renewed the discussion of whether Turkey could purchase F-35s. Congress could reconsider Turkey’s participation in the program. The United Arab Emirates reportedly withdrew its bid to buy F-35s after the Biden Administration delayed the deal over concerns about a UAE contract with the China-based 5G technology company Huawei.206 Congress could consider whether or not to support a sale of F35s to the UAE in the future

The long-anticipated proposal for the Eurofighter Typhoon has officially reached Ankara, as the UK finalizes its offer for the Turkish Air Force.

Good news is Turkish Typhoons are second hand and hence less life left in air frames.... so they will suffer against brand new Egypt and Greek Rafales.....

Not exactly. Greece has a mixture of second hand and newer Rafales. And Turkey is planning to buy a mix as well of second hand Eurofighters as well as brand new Tranche 4. Also Egypt is not really a hostile state, Turkey has cooperation with Egypt and has even offered the Hurjet to Egypt which has shown interest in many Turkish products.

As the Article states:

"Türkiye plans to acquire a total of 40 Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche 4 fighters in a 20+20 unit arrangement. These Tranche 4 aircraft, which represent the most advanced configuration of the Typhoon for aerial combat, will be remanufactured. However, Türkiye may also consider purchasing a small number of used Typhoon jets for training purposes, which is still under consideration."
