That's partly correct. Half go berserk(mostly the anti-NATO lot),the others agree with the decision or at least say it is necessary(since we've signed agreements with both Saudis and Emiratis).Just to be clear, the Greek military enthusiasts on social media are absolutely fuming. They argue that these systems and missiles are scarce and the inventory of Greece was already limited before the war.
In other words: just like the Gulfies, our neighbor's politicians are not prioritising their own country's military needs.
Just like the Arabs, the Greeks assume that EU and US will help them and save them from the 'evil Turks'. As we all know, this worked out perfectly for the Arabs.
They are in for a rude awakening.
it would be hilarious though if Qataris turn around after this and say "you know what,no Eurofighters for you"
No,actually most of our Patriot missiles (PAC-2 GEM)are old and almost expired. The rumor is that the the Gulf Arabs or the Americans will replace them with brand new PAC 3 MSE. Like I said above, both Emiratis and Saudis helped us with big stocks of spare parts for the Apache and Kiowa,as well as other equipment the last 2-3 years.
