Syrian Civil war was between Syrian people not Turkey, they din't do a war because of Turkey, Turkey only got involved b/c of the refugees that were pouring in and the mas slaughter happening on its border and the PKK and defending Turkey's own border and Syrian territorial integrity.

Turkey is not bound by treaties it doesn't sign, and it is not obligated to sign.

Turkey's treaty and guarantor status is older than Cyprus's entry into the UN. The greeks rejected the Annan plan.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus exists just like Kosovo exists.
