Turkish Foreign Policy and Regional Geopolitics

Like I said before, Azerbaijan is to Turkey what Israel is to the US - only worse.
No way

Erdogan doesn't want to leave him in Israel's hands. I think these are Aliyev's last chances.

How much power does this pig Aliyev or that other pig Netanyahu have in Turkey? They can just sack a adviser of Erdogan?

They made peace, right now it doesn't serve Turkish interests if there is a rupture. I don't think Erdogan is mad at his advisor, but this is more a case of the advisor sacrificing himself for Turkish interests and stepping down, that was the price Aliyev asked for to fix relations.

Its unfortunate, but we have to deal with the KGB guy's son as Elchibey is not there.

🇹🇷 Turkey is accelerating railway projects to establish alternative trade routes that will not be affected by wars.

▪️ Approximately $10 billion is being invested to eliminate bottlenecks in the Middle Corridor, which will connect China to Europe through Turkey. With the overcoming of bureaucratic obstacles, delivery times between China and London could be reduced to as little as 14 days.

▪️ The goal is to connect Turkey to Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia via the Modern Hijaz Railway. The line, which is being considered for extension to Oman in the future, will create an alternative trade route to the Strait of Hormuz.

Why couldn't the railway line, after Turkmenistan, continue directly through Iran to Turkiye?

This would avoid wasting time on transshipment and shipping across the Caspian Sea, making transport both faster and cheaper.

There is a connection but no corridor that is optimized, that is dependent on Iran and Turkmenistan showing interest.

It's cheaper and faster via the Caspian Sea.

Read: We're leaving, too.

As long as Isreal remains in the region the anglo-american world will always be with us in the middle east.

remember they kept saying "pivot to the east" it didnt stop them threatening us with war over Syria, nor has it stopped them attacking Iran. If they truly wanted to leave would they have threatened war with NATO ally Turkiye over the PKK?

When they say their leaving what their really saying is they intend to entrench themselves further in the region.

When i leave somewhere, i just get up and go and im gone. i don't spend decades talking about it.

Remember they lie and deceive relentlessly.

The fact that tiny Bulgaria is more important to the Turkish economy than 90 million Iranians next door is yet another example of the disastrous Iranian foreign policy and decision making.

The combined population of the Muslim middle east, or take the triangle from Turkiye to Egypt to Iran is over 500 million people. These guys would never want that large a bloc trading freely and safely among each other.

All of these wars are intended to keep the Muslims from reaching their collective potential.

If just Germany was turned into a war zone today that is internationally isolated and embargoed, it would have disastrous effects on the overall european economy. Well Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebabnon, etc have all been undermined by the anglo-american/zionist axis.
