Turkish Missile Programs

IHA-230 supersonic Missile has undergone serious modifications. Number of back fins have increased to 6 and their shape has changed. Bow fins have also increased in size. In this form, it hit the target with pinpoint accuracy at 155 km at supersonic speeds

IHA-230 Air-to-Surface Ballistic Supersonic Missile

Operating Range : 150+ km
Weight : 225 kg
Warhead : 42 kg
GPS , INS , Laser seeker
Countermeasure against jamming systems

IHA-230 supersonic Missile is an effective weapon against Air Defense Systems such as PANTSIR , BUK , TOR , AKASH-NG , SPYDER , MICA-VL , IRIS-T SLM , S-300 , SAMP-T , PATRIOT

cost effective and lethal solution .... unique in NATO

We are developing Missiles that go faster to further ranges.

▪️The target is a system that no one can harm Turkİye in the slightest, that no one can even think about

The decision was passed by the Somali Parliament, Turkiye's Somali Space Center is on its way. Turkiye will establish two strategic facilities in Africa

1--
Somali lands, which are close to the equator, are also one of the three most suitable points for launching from Earth into space

2-- Long-range Missiles are planned to be launched towards the Indian Ocean in this area.

Now we should be able to see where these launch vehicles rank compared to their contemporaries.

The US
Minotaur 1, which is based on the Minuteman II ICBM

There is one correction I wan to add when i mentioned the Start 1 and Minotaur 1, I should have mentioned they are solid fueled. The Turkish launch vehicles are liquid fueled.

for a three stage ballistic missile, you are going to need all stages solid unless you are building silos and fueling them underground. even in that case its vulnerable.

Silo based missiles aren't viable with Turkey's geography too easily reached, for mobile based ICBMs you would need 3 solid stages, for quickness in deployment as well as being able to store the missiles, which you can't do with Liquid propellent.

Turkiye can build silos underground to use ICBM as like Russian SARMAT ICBM which has 3 stage liqued fuel Engine

It can be done technically but an ICBM without a nuclear warhead would not be functional for deterrence ..... ( It can be done in the very future if Turkiye becomes a nuclear power)

A 2.500-3.000 km Ballistic Missile with MARV - HGV would be enough for deterrence in the region , based on CENK Ballistic Missile technology which use most modern composite solid fuel rocket

Silos only make sense if they are unreachable, like deep in Siberia essentially unreachable by aircraft trying to bomb them.

For countries that do no have such geographic advantages, road mobile missiles make more sense.

Its still valuable, but its diminishing returns, b/c they can be destroyed in preemptive strikes, as the enemy knows exactly where they are.

Türkish Armed Forces will not sleep
Türkiye create great defense capabilities to destroy hostile forces even outside the country's airspace

1-- SIPER and S400 Air Defense Systems will block enemy Fighter Jets to enter Turkish airspace

also HISAR , GOKDEMIR , GURZ , SUNGUR AD Systems will protect critical facilities

2-- KAAN , ANKA-4 and KIZILELMA stealth Fighter Jets will have capability to intercept any Fighter Jet in the World

here we are talking about the scenario of ICBM development via SLV ...
the protection issue is another topic

Yes you are right , road mobile Missiles make more sense
but as you said , 3 stage ballistic missiles need all stages solid or to build silos and fueling them underground

all Turkish SLV systems to use liqued fuel rockets that suitable for silo based launching like Russian SARMAT ICBM

The technologies and components employed by SLVs and ICBMs are similar. Both use powerful rocket engines, high strength and lightweight airframes, inertial navigation and guidance units, stage and payload separation mechanisms, also tracking and telemetry systems to support operations.

ROKETSAN engineers designed all of the critical technologies for the launch systems

-- Solid-Propellant Rocket Motor with Thrust Vector-Control feature
-- Multiple firings in space by the Liquid-Propellant Rocket Engine
-- Precise orientation control in space environment
-- Capsule detachment in space
-- Star Tracer and Radiacmeter, were carried into the space environment

-- Aerodynamic hybrid control driven by Thrust Vector Control and electromechanically controlled propulsion

-- Inertial Precision Navigation based on national sensors and a national Global Positioning System Receiver

-- Various structural and chemical materials and advanced processing techniques

ROKETSAN needs only capability of re-entry into the atmosphere to develop ICBM
Because SLVs carry payloads that operate in space while ICBM carry payloads must survive the rigours of re-entry into the Earth’s atmosphere

@hyperman

Roketsan new toy, Demir Pence what means Iron Claw. ALBM faster and grater range then IHA-230. Nightmare of airdefence systems.

Yeah I saw, Its good that they are developing various sizes for various missions.

I think they can make it bigger, One for the Akinci launched from the Underbelly.

also one made to be fired from the underbelly of a F-16 or a F-4.

Mazimize the payload capacity and range to the most capable air asset, I think.
