You don't get it. Let me explain in 2 points:

1.Erdogan has been talking big the last few years,about how much Turkey is on the side of Gaza and how much the Palestinian people are brothers to the Turks. He has been saying Turkey will always protect the weak,Turkey will protect the Palestinians etc.
2.Syria's HTS and SNA won with the help of Turkey. It was basically Turkey that sponsored their victory. Syria,effectively became and vassal State of Turkey. You signed a lot of important financial deals to develop Syria and wanted to have bases there.

Erdogan brags about Turkey went to Libya,Karabakh,Syria,Iraq,Somalia etc. however when it comes to confronting Israel,he chickens and does nothing. Especially after what happend to Iran,his rhetoric has toned down a bit.
