If Azerbaijan went openly against isreal, that would have meant when armenia started the war against them, they would have faced pressure from not only Russia, Iran and France/EU, but also America and Isreal. China is doing evil things in eastern Turkestan, most Muslim states for personal benefit have relations with China. Most of Russia not so long ago was Muslim lands and most Muslims have no issue with that. Don't forget the recent murder they commited in the caucuses against Muslims.

The greeks did evil things towards the Muslim in cyprus and currently are doing everything to help zionists against Turkiye, yet most of the Muslim world has great relations with them.

If Turks fool themselves concerning geopolitics, they will lose and lose big time.

The Israel thing would have made no difference. The only ones in the caucasus that can do anything are Turkey, Russia and Iran. The Azeris made sure the Russians wouldn't interfere as they built a relationship with Russia enough so that direct action would be bad for Russia, plus the involvement of Turkey placing F-16s in Azerbaijan as a warning that it would intervene if a 3rd party intervened against Azerbaijan.

What Azerbaijan did that was smart was that it minimized civilian casualties and it was a swift operation, so by the time news spread it was already over. The first conflict lasted about 6 weeks, largely is unpopulated mountain areas or abandoned areas from the previous war in the south, with minimal civilian casualties, I think overall Armenia only reported 85 civilian casualties.



The second operation only lasted 1 day, and it was over before they even had a chance to call a UN Security council meeting, which France did and was held several days after it was already over and Separatists had surrendered and were holding negotiations.

Americans could have sanctioned the f'k out of Azerbaijan. That would have been enough to stop any military operation.

Don't forget even Turkiye as a NATO ally was facing many open and hidden sanctions every time we moved in the region. Do you remember all of the embargoes on TB2 parts because of their use against Armenians?

Don't underestimate the damage the americans can do if they choose to come after you. America is the real source of Israeli power.
