Post news and discussions relating to Turkish activities in Pakistan Here.

Haluk Bayraktar:

“We prioritize brotherly countries like Pakistan. We will not sell unmanned aerial vehicles to India, which is in conflict with Pakistan.”

Essentially, nothing's really changed. India and Turkey have decided to keep their drama off the public stage for the time being.

Well, it seems like India isn't exactly hungry for deadly adventures when it comes to Pakistan.

I don't understand this urge of Pakistan to insert the Saudis in everything. They need to understand that including Riyadh is not strengthening the Pak-Turk relationship; it's diluting existing arrangements.

It's due to Saudis constantly bailing out Pakistan's economy. The Saudis demand is to then be included in everything Pakistan does. What you want is preferable but requires Pakistan to put its economic and financial house in order first.

Saudi is Pakistan's Sugar Daddy, whenever the economy needs help, the Saudis have always been there. Allegedly Saudis paid for the Nuclear program too.

Saudi funding of Pakistani nuclear program is myth. They provided economic help but claims on funding the nuclear program are exaggerated. Libya maybe.

What is a myth or isn't a myth its clearly not something that will be disclosed officially I'm just going by whats comments have been made by officials, but regardless the Saudis have an agreement over Pakistan's nuclear umbrella, and something like that is not merely transactional.

It’s more of ideological. Pakistan’s nuclear doctrine explicitly says the safety and security of the holy sites in Saudi Arabia are Pakistan’s responsibility. It has nothing to do with the claim of the Saudis financing Pakistan’s nuclear program.

No country funds another country’s nuclear program except rogue dictators with delusional grandeurs of an easy route to gaining the bomb like Libya. The Saudis would also not invite international wrath on themselves by bankrolling a nuclear program of a foreign country either.
