Turkey doesn't have anything close to its own nuclear bomb or program. They will never touch the Israelis while the West is still around. Maybe in 50yrs time when West implodes demographically and economically, dozens of country will get their own nuclear weapons but for now no one dares to go nuclear unless they want to end up like NK (who got chinese protection even).

If you think that either Europe or USA will commit suicide for Turkey then that is fair enough.

As for Russia, they have no interest in attacking Turkey and so there is little logic to Turkey being part of Nato.

Americans told them if they get rid of the S-400s they could get back to the F-35 club and were offered Patriot systems as well. They left that open as an option. Of course...how does one get rid of S-400s? Give them to Ukraine? Return them to Russia without a refund? Sell them to a middle-eastern country?
