The Stockholm Institute report indicated that the deal will include 300 Meteor missiles, in addition to 600 MICA NG missiles.

The Rafale F4 standard has high-speed fiber optic connections, which is the password for cooperative combat formation with the sixth generation, accompanying drones, fusing and processing of data from radar.

Technical sensors on the fighter: The new RBE-2 XG radar generates a data flow equivalent to 1 TB/s.

The DGA is carrying out tests on the new infrared optics of the Infra Red Search and Track Front Sector Optronics #OSF_IRST from @thalesgroup which will equip the Rafale F4.2

To meet the stealth challenge, Thales relies on the infrared spectrum (IRST - Infra Red Search & Track) to complement the radar capability.

Passive IRST enables search, tracking and recognition of hidden threats Long-range passive detection of a threat that always considers itself hidden reverses the air combat advantage over the intruder ..The Rafale F4.2 will be equipped with improved optics

Thanks to artificial intelligence, Thales will increase the performance of Rafale's TALIOS tenfold

Al Tariq X model is similar to the SmartGlider Ligh ammunition in weight and dimensions. It seems that the Rafale can be armed with 18 Al Tariq-Six on each wing and six on the belly, and they serve the same purpose, destroying enemy air defenses, in addition to being a multi-tasking ammunition

The F4 standard includes the integration of the missile's MICA NG (New Generation) communication radio station and autonomous digital jammer (BAN) integrated into the Rafale's SPECTRA self-protection system.

It appears that Escort Jammer containers can be installed on the Rafale and F-16

According to the National Interest Website:
China's J-20 Stealth Fighter Could Soon Be Headed to the Middle East

The J-20 not seems very adapted to UAE geopolitical situation : the longer range, usefull for such a big country as China (same than Su27 familly for Russia) is nearly useless for UAE.
If such a move is to come, I see J-31 a better answer.

Hopefully UAE gets some level of acess to the source code so that they can integrate home grown systems on to the platform.

Will they sell their M2k-9's or will they return to France as part of the deal? India could well pick them up if they were quick ( which thankfully they are not for Pakistan's sake ).

Ideally Egypt can get hold of these M2K-9's alongside those from Qatar !!!! They will do well in Egypt and compliment their Rafales very well.

The UAE will integrate some of its own weapons on the Rafale which means it has access to the source code..

The Mirage2k-9 will be split between Morocco and Egypt..this was announced officially..
