The concern is that swathes of liberals will side with Singh openly and vocally because he is now painting himself as some sort of poor victim of Tommy.

That is a major concern. If a fight breaks between bobby singh/sikhs and tommy robinson/british far-right, it is highly likely Muslims will get caught in the cross-fire. However, Pakistanis are prepared and used to fighting the racists. Other non-whites are not.

I met Sadiq Khan a few months ago and asked him - how can we “turn the tide” and without hesitation he suggested education. Teach and invest in the next generation. Get your kids into prestigious positions in society especially and surprisingly journalism.

I disagree, think you are underestimating many. Even the thickos amongst Robinsons followers are realising something is not right. His following is getting smaller and smaller if you go by the small numbers his rallies get. i may be wrong here, but I see the far right increasingly getting fragmented. Many of Robinson followers are creating break out factions and even Reform has lost many to the new Restore party that is more extreme.

Great post. Yes, things are nuanced on the right and the fragmentation may well be genuine. At the same time, these "kirpanists" are perhaps trying to be as cunning as a certain other tribe that seeks to persistently deploy white right wingers against British Muslims. We need to watch all these groups like hawks. British Indians most probably hate us - specifically as Pakistanis - the most.

Our people should be good at making movies, songs, social content, etc. If they have viewership, that is all that matters.
