The 2 categories do exist but I don't think the reasoning you have cited for these categories being harmful to the diaspora Pakistani community is entirely correct.

I think the "dawah" crowd (for want of a better word; I am NOT criticising the concept of dawah here) do unknowing harm to Pakistani and diaspora Pakistani interests by blindly focusing overwhelmingly on a religious dogmatic outlook, ignoring the realities of how other Muslims themselves have grown so resentful towards Pakistanis that their envious hatred manifests in myriad ways. It isn't a "worship of reverts" as much as it is a denial of "intra-ummah" rivalries.

Regarding "dilutionists", they have fallen for a different propaganda, which harms Pakistani and diaspora interests in a different way. They believe in some extended version of "aman ki asha" philosophy, bleeding hearts liberals if you wish to call them that. With liberals, they tend to yell loudest in all countries and genuinely believe that they share a single doctrine globally, but they all fail to acknowledge that the real power brokers in all nations exist as a deep state, a very silent deep state that is nationalistic above all else. The most pertinent extrapolation would be that Pakistani liberals need to understand that they and Indian liberals can all bark together as much as they wish but it makes ZERO difference to the objectives of the Indian deep state with respect to Pakistan and the Pakistani diaspora.

I've noticed the same pattern of hatred here, in my 26yrs here in Canada now, that Pakistanis are/were hated alot, even by most arabs/turks/etc in addition to the silent or backstabbings used to get at work from other coworkers or superiors such as managers or supervisors etc. Thankfully, the local laws on discrimination and racism have now tied all those hands! lol. They did it to themselves.
The problem also was that our people, due to natural upbringing in Pakistan and as muslims we tend to be polite, forgiving, etc and often ignore things against us in many settings......"har waqt bardasht kerte rehte".
Well the young generation growing up here doesn't do that shit and doesn't give a shit as they dont grow with such complexes.

These Dawah types really hate Pakistan lmao. Man I find it cringe to watch them act Arabs, Salafist type Arab too. When I was growing up you had the proto-Dawah p*ssies in my school who went around trying to convert non Muslim kids. They were ghetto af, and typically it would always be a very Indic looking Pakistani. It’s some form of an inferiority complex that they carried. I hated them. It was strange that they were doing this in school. Honestly the West needs to deport each one of them back to their beloved lands. Hypocrisy is one thing I can’t stand in anyone. You don’t get to live in the West and enjoy its fruits while calling for it to become a sh*thole that your people have turned the lands of our forefathers into. Instead of calling for Dawah, why not push for cleaning the streets, maintaining law and order, and throwing the Groomers in our community off the Tower of London into the Thames River. I think the difference between the two communities lies in the way they both arrived in the west. Pakistanis mainly came to canada in the 1990s. They came in small numbers and spread throughout canada so they couldn't form large communities. Also, the canadians did not have a historical angst with the Pakistanis due to colonialism or other historical reasons so it was easy for the Pakistanis to settle in and integrate into canadian society. In the uk, Pakistanis arrived mainly in the 1950s and 1960s which was barely a decade after Pakistan gained independence. Pakistan was indirectly blamed for the loss of the british raj hence the loss of the british empire. They arrived in a hostile environment where they were subjected to racism and oppression. Pakistanis had to form strong communities in order to fight the racism, violence and oppression they faced some 60-70 years ago. The legacy of this can has NOT been forgotten and can even be seen today. With the rise of the far-right in the uk, the battles our parents and grandparents fought against the racists is now being replayed again with the new generation of uk Pakistanis. Hence we NEED to maintain our strong religious, cultural, racial and traditional values along with our strong united communities in order to defend ourselves against the racist onslaught.

This notion of being warriors was always false but was used by the ISI and Pakistani establishment to fuel the feeling of resistance against the soviet union back in the 1980s as they were a bigger threat to Pakistan in those days. It was a means to an end. NOTHING more.
