UK right wing protests, riots and all news here please.

This being said I think we will now see the end of mass migration and asylum seekers being given stay. Yes the government will clamp down on trouble makers, but they will listen to the majority all of which have very negative views to these issues.

Will they?

That would imply they could have fixed it all along?

What can they do more?

Remember, whatever labour did the Tories utterly took the pi55

Yes it would imply that but they have no choice now. As for what they can do they'll probably have a most of measures. This won't go away with arrests and trials.

As we post they (far right) have spotters who have already published new lists of hotels and other accommodation used by asylum seekers. In Rotherham and Tamworth they tried to murder people on mass.

Islamophobia behind some of the violence on UK streets, says Yvette Cooper

Home Secretary uses word for the first time as she condemns violence hitting cities across Britain

"
Yvette Cooper has used the term “Islamophobia” to describe the actions of some rioters behind the current violence on Britain’s streets for the first time.

The Home Secretary condemned far-Right rioters who have targeted mosques. They did so despite there being no evidence that the suspect in the Southport killings was linked to the Muslim community.

It follows a backlash from Labour MPs who had criticised Ms Cooper and Sir Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister, for not having already described the unrest as Islamophobic.

The term currently has no single agreed meaning, but Labour has previously signalled support for defining it as “a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness”.

Ms Cooper was asked on ITV’s Good Morning Britain why Islamophobia had not already been used by the Government when discussing the violence.

She replied: “You’re right that there has been a range of different things driving this, including far-Right extremism. We have certainly seen some targeted attacks on mosques, and that clearly reflects Islamophobia, and people shouldn’t be targeted for their faith or for the colour of their skin.

“We’ve also seen some looting, some response of local criminals just getting involved at the periphery on streets as well. None of these people speak for Britain.”

On Sunday, the Home Office announced that extra police and security forces will be deployed to protect mosques under new emergency security measures.

Appearing on the same programme before Ms Cooper, Zarah Sultana said the Labour leadership must do more to call out hatred against Muslims.

Ms Sultana, one of the MPs suspended by Labour for six months after rebelling over the two-child benefit cap, said: “This question about naming it as Islamophobia is really important, because that allows us to shape our response.

“If we’re not identifying what is happening, the language that is being used and what this is about, we’re not going to be able to address this fundamentally.”

Ed Balls, the Good Morning Britain presenter who is Ms Cooper’s husband, pointed out his wife and Sir Keir had condemned attacks on mosques as “terrible”.

When Mr Balls said: “I don’t know if they used the word ‘Islamophobic’.” Ms Sultana replied: “They didn’t.”

Asked whether she believed it was important to “control and manage” migration, she said: “I think it’s really important to reassure the communities that are most affected by the violence that we’re seeing.

“And I have to ask, why is there such controversy around calling it Islamophobic when we know Muslim communities are being targeted? We know the language that is being used. Why is it so hard to use that word? That is my question.”

There have been calls since the far-Right rioting began for Islamophobia to be made a specific crime, a long-standing demand of the Muslim Council of Britain.

But Conservative and Reform MPs have warned Sir Keir not to yield to those wanting to change the law, warning any new legislation would risk stifling freedom of expression.

Later on Monday, Diane Abbott, the Labour MP, said “we don’t know” what ministers are doing to tackle the rioting as she demanded that Parliament be recalled.

Asked whether the Government was doing enough, the Hackney North and Stoke Newington MP told the BBC: “We don’t know what they’re doing. That’s why we need Parliament so they can be questioned on it.

“This is an extraordinarily grave situation. You’ve got people trying to burn down hostels where asylum seekers are cowering. You’ve got people attacking black and Muslim people on the street.

“We need to be able to question ministers on what exactly is being done, and we want to speak up for our communities. These are racist, anti-immigrant riots, and we need proper debate and proper analysis in the House of Commons.”

Ms Abbott, the first black woman elected to the Commons, added that “unless there is a serious analysis of what is happening” she believes “there is no sign of these anti-immigrant incidents abating”.

Tears of 'rioters' as they are hauled before court: Sobbing 'thug' denies threatening woman, protester who pushed wheelie bin at cops says she has 'mental health issues' - and burglar says 'nice one lads' as he's taken to cells

A suspected rioter sobbed in the dock today while a woman who pushed a wheelie bin at police complained she had poor mental health.

Curtis Coulson, who is accused of waving a stick 'in a threatening manner' towards a woman during a riot in Sheffield, wiped away tears throughout his 20 minute-long appearance in court today.

The 30-year-old, who denied one charge of affray, became even more upset when he was refused bail and remanded in custody at Sheffield Magistrates Court. He was among at least 25 riot suspects to be hauled before court today.

Meanwhile, in Liverpool, 28-year-old career criminal Adam Wharton pleaded guilty to burglary in relation to serious disorder on Saturday night at Spellow Library in Walton, which was torched and looted. He said 'nice one lad' as he was led down to the cells.

Downing Street held an emergency Cobra response meeting this morning, with Sir Keir Starmer saying a 'standing army' of specialist police officers had been assembled to crack down on any further rioting.

It comes as a disturbing post emerged on Telegram channel Southport Wake Up which called for attacks against 39 immigration centres.

The post, seen by The Times, read: 'Wednesday night lads. They wont [sic] stop coming until you tell them... No more immigration. 8pm.'

Three men appeared in court this morning in connection with violent disorder that broke out yesterday in Bolton, where around 300 masked Muslim people shouting 'Allahu Akbar' – or 'God is greatest' – charged towards anti-immigration marchers, with rival groups throwing missiles at each another.

Hamza Mohammed, 23, a salesman from Bolton, was charged with possessing fireworks, while Daniel Robinson, 37, of admitted possessing a hammer.

Gareth Rigby was fined after he admitted a single charge of using threatening words or behaviour. The 43-year-old had 15 previous convictions for 23 offences including being drunk and disorderly last year.

Gareth Metcalfe, 44, Derek Drummond, 58, and John O'Malley, 43, who were all charged with violent disorder that broke out on Merseyside.

A 14-year-old boy from Toxteth pleaded guilty to violent disorder. The court heard the boy, who cannot be named because of his age, said 'I'm sorry, I wasn't firing them at you, though', when he was arrested by police after they gave chase. He had five fireworks and a lighter in his possession.

In Bristol, Adrian Croft, 45, of Flintshire, was charged with a Section 4 public order offence and possession of a Class A drug; while Damien Williams, 39, of Knowle, was charged with a Section 4 public order offence.

Both men have been bailed and will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Six people are due to appear at South Tyneside Magistrates' Court today charged with violent disorder that took place in Sunderland.

Josh Kellett, 29, of Washington, admitted violent disorder and was remanded in custody for sentencing at crown court on September 2.

The court heard he was seen on footage throwing a stone towards police officers while part of a large group on Friday. He was wearing a balaclava but was identified by his 'distinctive tattoos,' it was said.

Andrew Smith, 41, also pleaded guilty to violent disorder and has been remanded in custody until September 2.

Shaun Doran, 48, of Sunderland, pleaded not guilty to the same offence. Clinton Morrison, 31, of Sunderland, was remanded in custody after being accused of violent disorder, but did not make a plea.

Tamsyn Kerr, 21, and Carl Holliday, 31, have been remanded in custody after being charged with violent disorder.

Sir Keir paid tribute to police officers tackling disorder on Britain's streets during this morning's Cobra meeting.

His official spokesman told reporters: 'The Prime Minister convened a meeting of Cobra this morning to update on the response for the disorder we've seen. This follows a series of meetings last week and over the weekend.

'Cobra was attended by the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, Home Secretary, Justice Secretary, DSIT (Department for Science, Innovation and Technology) Secretary, Attorney General, Chief Secretary and leaders from police, prison service, NCA (National Crime Agency) and other senior officials.

'The PM paid tribute to the hard work of police officers over the past week and sent best wishes to those who have been injured protecting our streets.

'There have been hundreds of arrests and people are already being charged, and police will continue to update on the specifics in relation to progress or arrests and charging.

'The police are continuing to deploy additional resource around the country at strategic locations where necessary.'

The recent disorder echoes the 2011 riots, which began following the shooting by police of Mark Duggan in Tottenham before breaking out into riots across London and then other cities in England.

Looter Gordon Thompson received one of the strongest sentences in the aftermath of the riots, with the thug locked up for 11-and-a-half years for setting fire to House of Reeves, a family run furniture store in Croydon.

And footage from a local park appeared to show a group of white men and boys with faces covered surrounding and attacking a group, with violence erupting before they fled the scene.

Nearby, a Muslim leader at a mosque told community members who had turned out to protect their place of worship to 'show the world what Muslims are really like'.

Addressing far-right violence in the town, he said: 'They are doing all the wrong things. We don't want to be part of it.'

Other local Muslims were seen carrying tea and coffee to police officers on the front line of the town amid fierce violence from the far-right.

The absolute state of these people.....

These clowns all are living in the US, India and the Gulf. Let them come to one of these marches and get their skinny fat bodies stomped on. They have no idea what these people are like.

Bro, indian Hindus CANNOT physically fight and be violent. They would rather go limp and take the beatings no matter how severe they are. They would be begging for mercy while the beatings are taking place. I have seen that happen in real life.

What are the thoughts of fellow brit Pakistanis here? Do you reckon this will soon die down or it has the potential to escalate further? Currently demonstrations taking place in Birmingham, heartlands hospital, Alum Rock etc...I.e. the heart of Pakistani community in Brum.

Hard to say as we feel there is a lot more to come. But it feels like the UK is going to become a very racialised and segregated society. The biggest losers in all of this are mixed race people and those in mixed-race relationships.

Doubt it that will cause a eruption and there will be lots of deaths, many of those their own. This is similar to the EDL marches of 2011. Very often they said they would turn up but not come but appear elsewhere.

As for it dying down, it won't until the government is seen to do something. Also I don't think it will get worse.

The Birmingham one is just a rumour and the city is very dangerous for them. Large numbers of Muslim youth and men of all ages await them and the large black community.

Here;

The above video is plain crazy. Our leaders should stop these youth.

Their support is misplaced and will cost them. You have to remember the UK community i.e. British Indians born and raised here are different, and also received so much abuse back in the days.
We are talking about the fresh visa wallah ones in the US, Gulf and ones still in India who support them. You do get some new comers who arrive in the UK with this sanghi mindset but they are quickly told by the UK Hindu community that support them at your peril.

Guys we must remember, we are in a minority. Although we have a few strongholds, if the British boars decides to rumble, then there will be a lot of damage. Only respond to incitement if it is a direct threat to you or your community. Otherwise, best to stay lowkey and if they don't get the response they're looking for, the riots will just be a damp squib piss up. Stay safe.
