Well, considering the dem base are mostly white middle class, they aren't fleeing the states or countries I can tell you that much.
The issue here being how they campaign, not whether or not any ideology or any policy (or rather the concept of the plan of the policy, quoting trump) because if this is the case, and there is a large disenfranchise working class voting base out there, you will see Trump is going to go north of his number in 2020, because they don't know if the dem is going to come out in force to vote again, (We now know it hasn't but we don't know back during the election) but the fact is, Trump himself losing 3 million base means people are also disenfranchise with him, a lot of the 25 million voter that was missing between 2020 and 2024 were basically disenfranchised with both base, that's why they don't vote either.
As a person who study policy and politic in college, things is not how they see, you believe he can do a lot of stuff, but the fact remain to be seen, take deportation for example, you can't just deport them to Mexico and get it over with, you need Mexico (Or name your country) to agree on a deportation plan and swap migrant or benefits. US have no jurisdiction outside US Border, you can push them out in Mexico border, but then what? CIS going to go over to Mexico and open the gate and let them in? Or are you suggesting the US Military to invade Mexico, for example?

As far as I know, working for the Military Intelligence, this is something DEA, ATF and the entire Federales cannot reign them in, and cartel bring in billions for putting illegal in US, you think 4 million armed American Citizens is enough to stop the cartel? Doing that will only make Border Area a warzone, they will openly resist you, because you have no idea how cheap a Mexican life is worth for the cartel. One thing I agree with you though, American have made a choice, and they
ALWAYS do the right thing, and that reflect not just on election, it also reflect on mid-term, I sincerely hope Trump can do what he said he would do, he didn't tell us how he would do it, he has a plan, and you can always count on American to do the right thing. Because voter is watching, and they won't just lie down and take it, you think you have 12 months honeymoon? You probably have 3 months, max, and if Trump can't fix the things he promises to fix by 2027, you are going to get a bigger backslash than it was in 2020. Because fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. And that is something American won't tolerate. And I will be watching it far away from Australia. Because every ounce of my knowledge, combined with military knowledge I learnt when I was a soldier, law enforcement knowledge I learnt when I was a cop and economic knowledge I learnt when I was in college tell me this is too good to be true.
