Do you know what is the cost of electricity produced from hydal projects in AJK?
Do you know what sacrifices AJK gave for that cheap hydal electricity?
Do you know these were mostly the forced projects imposed on AJK nationals?
Do you know how much potential for cheap hydal electricity AJK has and how much future projects will commence in future?
Do you know some 60 years ago AK Kashmiris were promised free electricity when mangla was built... Which they never provided.
Do you know how much royalties are still pending and needed to pay to AJK nationals by Pakistan government.
Do you know how much electricity AJK need?
And
Do you know how much other resource including precious timber and minerals were taken from AJK to Pakistan yearly?
Yes AJK was a submissive hen laying Golden eggs all the time.
Now if Kashmiris asking for some relief and perks why is it so much of a burden.
We are asking for our rights? Not begging for some "alms".
Please do consider how we kept defending Pakistan until now and please take your time and visit Kashmir and see how much it was difficult to submerge homes and graves of our family members under water... Just to produce some very cheap electricity for Pakistan which was provided back to us after some 25-30x fold in cost.
Do not put your costly electricity produced by some bogus gas/oil electricity agreements made by the incompetent previous governments plus some 14 different kinds of taxes.
Last but not least please think why we were not allowed to create a national grid for ourselves????
Why they need to l take all the electricity to Islamabad and then bring all the way back to AJK?
