Yes, families are involved of the deceased and the rest, but these climbers understand the risks associated with climbing such colossal mountains. An accident is always a real possibility. You are dealing with nature. Climbing such colossal mountains is simply put an incredibly risky business. When you succeed people hail your effort. When you fail it is often the end. That is the bitter reality.

Pakistan should at the very very least have some sort of alpine rescue team like in most nations. They should be equipped and have proper training. It doesn't make sense for soldiers to carry out rescue missions.

You keep harping on about Pakistan Alpine Rescue Team. I've already told you Pakistan HAS a professional mountain rescue team...

You simply don't understand some basic information:

1. All climbers purchase specialized insurance which covers the rescue and recovery of the expedition if they get in trouble or fall I'll or die. This is none negotiable and MANDATORY for all trekkers and climbers inside Pakistan and also other countries. Here is the insurance form for Pakistan:

2. Mountain rescue teams around the world are made up of military and civilians, most perform this task "Voluntarily" and free of cost as service to humanity, Pakistan is no different.

In Pakistan due to the altitudes, logistics and security implications due to our border with India, all rescue operations are lead by Pakistan army and supported by specialist civilians who are all 8000ers (meaning they have climbed mountains 8000 meters and above).

3. You seem to be under the impression this was "FREE" operation by Pakistan Govt. This is totally incorrect, the climbers had purchased insurance that COVERS the rescue and or recovery of remains.
