US 2026 Midterm Elections Thread

South Carolina flipped Blue

Annie Andrews projected winning over Lindsey Graham sister by 4.2 point.

RCP project Graham +3 and Trump won the state by 17

Dem flipped 2 Senate seats 2 more to go.

Trump was right about the poll were wrong, it's just not in his favor

-FL Senate (1.8 actual from 6.3 poll)
-FL Governor (1.2 actual from 4.0 poll)
-NC Senate (19 actual from 11 poll)
-SC Senate (4.2 actual from -3 poll)

The swing is 7+ points on average; that is going to be a bad night for the GOP....

It sure looks bad for the GOP!! Much worse than I thought. Annie Andrews--whom I met some weeks ago-- appeared such a long shot for the Senate from SC. We are more used to 'Sperm Thurmond' and Lindsay Graham.

Looks like we have our first flipped seat in the US Senate

Republicans hold the Senate 53-47. Democrats need a net gain of four; a gain of three produces a 50-50 chamber, which stays Republican thanks to JD Vance's tie-breaking vote. That means Democrats have to hold Georgia, Michigan and New Hampshire, and then flip four of the GOP-held seats in North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Alaska, Maine, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and South Carolina.

Kansas looks to be the next flipped US Senate seat to make it three.

Richard Hudson is almost certain to lose his congressional seat to a Democrat in NC.......

He is the chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee.........

Dem is not just going to retake the house, GOP is going to lose big.
