The drone interceptor cost is less than $5,000. The cheapest ones are roughly $2,000. Considering the cost of Shahed, because some of them cost from $50,000 to $150,000, that's pretty much efficient. Absolutely incredible! Reminds me of how the F-22 raptor is also decades old, yet still arguably the best air superiority fighter jet in the world today.

Only makes me wonder what the US is working on now that will be out to dominate more decades in the future

Problem isn’t what we’re building now but what can survive bean counters that now head every major corp.

Anduril on the other hand while led by the living embodiment of Mojojo from Powerpuff girls is working at less constrained a pace than LM or NG.
