You are certainly Incorrect on above. The thing is awfully heavy, maybe the heaviest air to air in any modern missiles. Below stats i just copied from US Navy.mil website... for aim 424

Aim-424 is a two-stage missile the first stage likely separates after 10-13 second burn (aim-120 has a 7.8-8 second burn time) the second stage will def weigh less than an aim-120 not that it matters.
