Just giving the perspective of Donald Trump, again, who has stated several times over the years, Iran will pay for the Iranian Hostage Crisis. Posted a few video clips on PDF over the past several months with Trump stating this.
 

He is definitely concerned about the mid-terms, especially by Democrats investigating and impeaching him. ​
