CIA deception campaign worked

Astronomic levels of cope in the main thread. Losing 2-3 aircraft means nothing for a nation that just submitted a $1.5T defense budget.

The aircraft weren’t stuck in mud. It was either soft sand or blown tires. The US blew up its own aircraft, not from Iranian fire.

Tally for last 2 days arising from F15E down..

1 x F15E
2 x A10 ( one crashed in the Persian Gulf, the other in Iraq )
1 x F16CJ - possible - damage and crash while returning from Iran on the same day.
2 X C130's – destroyed on the ground.
2 x Black Hawks damaged.
4 x MH-6 Little Birds ( on or near C130' package ).
2 x MQ-9s Reaper
- unspecified injuries of Spec Ops personnel.

It's war bro , you won't hear humming sounds of birds and bees .

Well you can disagree with me, but the vast majority of analysts will agree with this assessment. Sadly not a good look for Iran this time. Not every battle is won, some are lessons.

The US has lessons to learn - so does Iran.

The issue is not that they successfully rescued their pilot, it is that for some 30+hrs, helicopters were flying low level without fear to the point where they could do slow low-level air-to-air refuelling over Iranian airspace, and the entire combined armed forces of Iran did not have the common sense to load up a few trucks of soldiers with MANPADs to shoot them down... That is where Iran failed. It would not have taken much to do that, yet we didn't see that at all. If the locals could drive to the areas, then so could have low-level specialised AD teams. It is that lack of professional conduct, or skill that we all saw fail and are disappointed in.

Literally Tom Cruise, medals awarded ASAP

American hero right there

Rubbish post. He followed his training to the letter.

He'll get a medal alright. Tom Cruise reference is fantasy. Stick to reality.

And there it is. Cope from the US side.
