US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

U.S. Blockade Pushes Iran to Extreme Oil-Storage Measures

Iran’s oil tanks are filling up as the U.S. blockade of its ports is preventing its shipments from reaching customers and empty tankers from loading up. To avoid shutting down some of its production, Iran is already storing oil on floating tankers. But now the Islamic Republic, which is dependent on oil exports for the bulk of its revenue, is resorting to previously unused methods to conserve storage space, say current and former Iran officials.

The regime is using containers and “junk storage”—disused tanks in poor condition—in the southern oil hubs of Ahvaz and Asaluyeh, the officials say. Iran is also trying to send oil by rail to China, said Hamid Hosseini, spokesman for Iran’s oil exporting union.

Most exporters typically shun rail exports as they are much less profitable and efficient than seaborne transport.

If that was true, the US would not be negotiating the same things that were negotiated in 2015. This time it'll only have Donald Trump's stamp on it instead of Black Hitler's.

If the Iranians get to own the Hormuz, which it looks it will as that's what the negotiations are mainly about, Iran will be making tens of billions from toll charges annually.
It will be the end of times when Iran will be allowed to have shipping tolls on straits of Hormuz.

Claim? The Iranians are being blockaded by the USN. Today is the two week mark. Nearly half a billion in economic damage per day. That’s over $6B. There comes a point where the Iranian regime can no longer meet payroll.
Well the Iranian "regime" doesn't appear desperate to sign any deal despite the 2 week blockade.

The fact Iran keeps making proposals to open the Strait really says it all.

Another proposal only "if" Iran gets guarantees it has demanded.

No guarantees, no opening, stalemate.

Axios is fake news peddling constantly lies.

It was Vance getting all ready to attend talks but the Iranians said no. So its clear who more urgently want a ceasefire.

For Iran this is existential their tolerance for pain is greater, taco trumpy will fold, wait for crude oil to hit $125 a barrel again.

Iran is making the proposal because it’s desperate to unblock its ports. They can’t do it by force, so they’re attempting to weasel out of nuclear talks to do so. Otherwise, the status quo of US control of the Strait remains.

It’s confirmed by the WSJ now.

Iran is the one losing 90% of its revenue and half a billion dollars per day. They’ve already been militarily defeated. Their economy is cooked. $300B already in direct damage, now revenue shut off.

This war and the Venezuelan oil industry capture has catapulted the US into an energy juggernaut. Along with partnerships with Morocco and Indonesia, the US controls every major Strait and strategic waterway in the world. The US is stacking W after W.
