US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

This happens when a whole Party (Republican) revolves around 1 person, and become a more cultist party. I mean Trump is behaving like a Authoritarian, and a man child. Building his golden statues, putting his picture on everything and anything he can find, and not to mention his outbursts over the social media, conflicting statements and picking up beef with everyone who criticize him or his cabinet.
There are several reports of Trump's cabinet and family making millions from Polymarkets, and manipulating markets with constant back and forth of peace deal.

I won't be surprised at all if the Republicans loses the mid-terms and badly loses the 2028 presidential elections but it is not as simple, so far Democrats have been terrible at taking charge, they are also very confused to what they want to do, on one side Democrats major vote bank is anti war and wants America to finally stop Israel's wars and expansion but on the other hand we have scums like Jeffery and Schumer who are more loyal to Israel than America, AIPAC has not even Democrats votes against the Trump's war in Iran, and 2 or 3 resolutions already failed. That's the unfortunate truth of American politics these days, both parties and its senators compete against each other who will be the biggest c(_)ck for Israel. Which isolate the American people who wants to afford groceries, and gas and able to pay for Medicare and get a house. In last 1-2 years I have seen so many co-workers of mine putting out posts on FB and other social media asking people for 20-40$ at the end of month just make ends meet. Mind you that these people are those with jobs, imagine people who are homeless and make much lower pay rate, how they are meeting the ends is beyond me.

2 things I said back in 2023 and 2024 started to come true

1.) You can't get rid of Israel's influence on foreign policy alone, gas price over $4 becuase the admin follows Israel, drawing a lot more blowback than the number of people killed in Gaza.

2.) Dems can't just be the "I am not Trump" party and expect to win anything.

The problem with elections is it seldom change things. In the end, we just get used to the problem instead of trying to elect someone else to make it better. We don't just need a change of administration, we need an overhaul of political direction, and that can only be done via new/freshman candidate to change up the political landscape.

Now, it really depends on who is in charge, a smart and more approachable Dem will make it happen, but can they elect such a leader within the Democratic Party is another issue.

Unlike Poll, this is what people are actually putting money into it, so there is that.

At the start of Trump presidency, the chance of Democrats winning the Senate was almost none

The issue here is that if this war had not been resolved soon, Democrats would not just win the House, but it would be a major blowout; it's not like last time when Republicans picked up the House with +7 seats in 2022. It depends on the war; currently, we are looking at a D+10 swing (That will translate into a 50-56 seat change, but if this goes bad, it can reach a D+15 swing, which means you are looking at around 70 seat changes.) The problem is, as bad as it is now, almost all the projected changes at this moment are more progressive than traditional democrats seats. For a D+15 scenario, that means a serious pullback from the US political landscape. Because unless the GOP elects an extreme opposite to Trump as a presidential candidate, there is pretty much no way the GOP will win anything (not just losing the Presidency, but all 3) in 2028, as the voting public had been pulled too far to the left by then, the Democrats really had a shot with a supermajority in both houses if things continue at the current.trijectory

At this point, Dems is on the track to break the 1974 election record, when they had a D+7 swing and picked up 49 seats after Nixon's Watergate. The only thing that can stop this depends on the Dems ' own stupidity.
:ROFLMAO:
Do you live in an echo chamber? SCOTUS just killed any chance dems ever gaining power in the House of Reps today. Try to keep up please.

You are right, very few American posters here unfortunately call BS and Bullshit, I agree with your assessment. Israel has its tentacles wrapped in every Aspect of American life which matters in the decision making elites, and what you see here and other online echo chambers are mostly sheep that follows whichever their cultist leaders say, remember that Elon Saga? when Elon first came with DOGE, we have people here hailing Elon as right hand of modern day Jesus aka Trump, his words were truer than Gospels and Torah and Quran, but moment he said Trump is in Epstein files hence DOJ is stopping releasing them, the same members took a sharp U-turn, like people have zero honor and dignity or principles to stand on, that's sad.

Domestic gasoline prices in the US are going absolutely bananas.

Outage at the BP Whiting refinery, a sharp climb in the price of crude, and massive draws on gasoline inventories is creating a perfect storm.

We're heading to $4.50/gallon national average soon. It likely won't stop there.

Gasoline prices in my area as well as across the state are on the rise. Up $0.10 from a few days ago.

The summer driving season will soon be here. This will not be good for the administration.

Article that explores the negative effects of Iran war on farmers.

Gasoline prices just went up twice today at the truck stop I work at.

Now up to $3.79 for regular. Was $3.29 a week ago.

US May Deploy Hypersonic Missiles Against Iran As Centcom Set To Brief Trump On New Military Options

US Central Command has asked to send the Army’s long-delayed Dark Eagle hypersonic missile to the Middle East for possible use against Iran, seeking a longer-range system to hit ballistic-missile launchers deep inside the country Bloomberg reports.

If approved, this would mark the first time the US will have deployed its hypersonic missile, which is running far behind schedule and hasn’t been declared fully operational even as Russia and China have deployed their own versions. And since Trump isn't shy when it comes demonstrating force, it is unlikely that the request will be denied.

The military's Request for Forces submission reportedly justifies the move by saying Iran has moved its launchers out of range of the Precision Strike Missile, a weapon that can hit targets at more than 300 miles. If approved, the deployment would also send a signal to Russia and China that the US is finally able to match a capability that they’ve long since mastered.

Dark Eagle, also known as the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon, or LRHW, has a reported range of more than 1,725 miles, although its exact capabilities are secret. It is designed to glide to its target at more than five times the speed of sound and can maneuver to avoid interception. The missile was designed to fight Chinese or Russian advanced air defenses. The problem is that each Lockheed Martin missile costs about $15 million, and there are no more than eight missiles, so any assault using hypersonics would be rather brief. Also, since each battery will cost about $2.7 billion, according to the Government Accountability Office, they will make attractive targets for Iran's own hypersonics.

They just wanna tryout their new toy in combat conditions just like the PrSM which did pretty well I hear.

Yup. Yet, we have a person here who insists "it's only another $20 at the pump".
An increase of about $20 each week for someone working in Tulsa, living in my area. $80/month additional expense to work and back.

Many have recently cut the snacks. Just gasoline, coffee/energy drinks, and a pack of cigarettes.
