Grapevines are whispering something else... GCC countries are adamant that there shall be curbs on Iran's missiles development.Control over soh is a maximalist demand by the Iranian , Iran wants to extract concessions on other issues... would Iran succeed?
Omnipotent GPS god couldn't find the new Ayatullah .
It's like bullying toddlers .I don't get it.
The US military is reportedly conducting operations from Israel, Jordan, and naval assets at sea, yet Iran appears to be focusing much of its retaliation on US bases in Arab countries such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman.
Could it be that the IRGC is trying to reduce pressure from these forward operating bases while believing it can wear down the US by forcing it to operate over longer distances?
If so, that would seem like a poor strategy on the IRGC's part. It's a bit like expecting Russia to give up on Ukraine after only a month or two of fighting—and we know the US is not Russia.
The US doesn't usually abandon a war simply because it drags on. More often, public and political support erodes when the objectives become unclear or the costs begin to outweigh the perceived benefits.
What I also don't understand is why the IRGC doesn't appear to be targeting Israel to the same extent.
Israel has effectively made itself a major hub for American military support, yet the IRGC seems relatively restrained in directly provoking Israel. Perhaps Tehran is trying to avoid further escalation, or perhaps it is acting out of caution.
I'm also curious about Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. If Iran's objective is to neutralise it, how much longer would it realistically take? Reports indicate it has been targeted repeatedly for several months, yet it remains operational.![]()
