In my opinion, Iran has fought one major conventional interstate war over the past 47 years, whereas the United States has been involved in numerous military operations and conflicts during the same period.

Many countries also send military officers to train in the United States or participate in US-led military education and exchange programmes. In my opinion, that breadth of operational experience and training gives the US military significant advantages in many areas.

If US and Iranian forces were ever to engage directly, I believe American personnel would likely benefit from their broader combat experience, training, and institutional expertise.

I don’t know Iranian military personnel and advisors were in the thick of it from Syria to Iraq to Lebanon and Yemen they got a lot of real world fighting experience not saying fighting American forces will be a walk in the park but I don’t the irgc are any slouches either if we can get just a glimpse of the fighting prowess of Hezbollah close quarters and etc they learned much of it from Iran

What are you talking about mister ? The main US naval base in the Gulf is in Qatar, the main US air force base is Prince Sultan in Saudi Arabia. The entire Gulf War 1 and 2 air operations were led from Prince Sultan airbase in Saudi Arabia. The radars and anti-missile batteries are used to protect US and Israel, the fighter aircraft, refuelers, AWACS, SAR are all used in the war effort.

HIMARS missiles are being fired from Bahrain and Kuwait at Iran and yet look at what you write !!

The Iranian regime did not leave in peace its closest allies, betrayed them, and bombed them. It bombed Qatar, Oman, and the Emirates, and they were its closest allies in the world after Russia and China.

The facts are the GCC built and hosts US bases that are C&C, surveillance , combat, Electronic warfare and Search/Rescue and additionally provides its airspace and ports to facilitate American wars on Iran. That makes them as guilty of aggression as the US.

You ignore these facts to push a narrative. Now reap what you have sown.

Scratching my head but allowing attacks to originate from your lands that’s helping you could say stop sir please but honestly so many reports out there that have said quite a few GCC nations were pushing Trump to attack Iran but honestly if you want to stick with GCC hands are clean and Iran retaliating against those nations who were backing an overthrow of Iran it’s fine nothing will actually change your mind if that

Both sides are now almost showing their cards. What the United States wants is for the Strait to remain open, while what Iran wants is for the Strait to be subject to fees. Even going through the Oman side is not acceptable; Iran must have full control.

So at this point, this issue is no longer about the midterm elections. Even if Trump loses the midterms, no American interest group would accept Iran controlling the Strait. The U.S. Democratic Party, American Jewish financial groups, the Anglo-Saxon bloc, the U.S. military-industrial complex, and the emerging American tech plutocrats would all find it impossible to accept the Strait of Hormuz, a global hub, being voluntarily handed over by the American hegemon to Iran. This is unacceptable to every American interest group.

At this stage of the war, it no longer has much to do with the Gulf states. Iran should stop continuing to pressure the Gulf countries; there is no point in doing so.
