US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

We have Americans here who don't mind spending an extra 500 billion a year on defense and new weapons, but balk at spending anything for school lunches, healthcare and education as you say. There is a mindset issues that, I and many others do not understand of the Americans.

What? You a commie? 😉

Iranian attacks are pushing US assets further and further away from Iran, and now last refuge locations are Jordan, Israel and Crete it seems. Therefore it is having a material impact on tempo given the longer logistical lines, turn around times for sorties and travel times involved.

At the current rates, Jordan could well soon no longer be considered safe for US operations.

Far far far more than 100-150 have gotten through. This statement is simply not worth spending any time on debating if that is your opening position.

The US has been operating out of European bases since the start of the war. This is nothing out of the ordinary. RQ-180 drones were operating out of Greece in March. The US is not being pushed back, and Iranian fires have had almost no effect on US operational tempo.

Persian Gulf recently posted some battle damage assessment of American bases throughout the region. I counted around 90 successful strikes. Even if you tripled that, the US has still intercepted over 90% of all missiles and drones fired. Iran isn’t inflicting anywhere near the damage it needs to have an effect on US operations.

I believe Irans ballistic missiles stocks are under 2,000 now. At a 20 per day firing rate, they run out in 3 months. They clearly don’t feel comfortable at that rate. At 10 per day, they run out in 6 months.

Iran can’t afford for this war to last until the end of the year.

It is really despicable. We, western countries have legalized the Genocide. But this is out of this topic. I am ashamed.

Iran should be tackled really carefully. It sits on great natural resources and have used that wealth to engineer dangerous proxies across the region sitting on the throat of world economy.
Any half baked effort to contain this theocratic state only gives it more time to spread its tentacles across the region.

Bahraini and Kuwaiti jets are involved in strikes on Iranian missile and storage depots, as well as other targets. This comes as these two countries have been some of the primary targets for Iran in July.

About time.

The IRGC fanatics have spent years portraying themselves as untouchable. Recent events suggest that image is rapidly fading.

The fact that two of the Arab world's smallest countries are now reportedly conducting air operations against Iran would have seemed unthinkable not long ago.
