US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Iranians are out of their minds. It seems as if they think the whole world should revolve around Iran.

For example, when oil prices fail to rise, Iranians blame China. They are completely irrational.

China has abundant oil reserves, so why shouldn’t China reduce imports when oil prices are so high?

Without China importing Iranian oil, Iran would have starved long ago. China is Iran’s only importer of Iranian oil.

As for China, Iran is merely one dispensable source among many, one that could easily be replaced by the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and others.
It is China that is keeping Iran alive.

Türkiye

  • No foreign base exists on Turkish soil.
  • Every facility (Incirlik, Kürecik radar, etc.) is Turkish sovereign territory.
  • Foreign forces are there only under Turkish permission, via joint-use agreements.
  • Türkiye can restrict, suspend, or terminate access at any time.
  • Turkish officers command the base; US/NATO personnel operate under Turkish oversight.
In short: They are not US bases. They are Turkish bases with US/NATO presence.

Saudi Arabia & Gulf States

  • Many facilities are built, operated, and controlled by the US.
  • Host nations often grant exclusive-use rights to the US military.
  • Command structure is US-led, not joint.
  • Local sovereignty is limited inside those compounds.
In short: They are actual US bases, not joint bases.
Most of those bases are there to service the US weapons sold to the GCC (I'm talking mainly about Saudi Arabia)

The US Senate votes against a draft resolution to stop military operations against Iran
