How exactly did the US win the war? The US military had 3 strategic goals: 1) The elimination of Iran's Nuclear Program, 2) The elimination of Iran's Ballistic Missile Program and 3) Regime Change.
The US not only failed to achieve the goals proclaimed by itself but it failed to achieve the new goal set by it's own failure, the opening of the Straight of Hormuz. The "World's Most Powerful Navy" failed to open a single Straight....

USA like to conceal their well executed plans as errors.

of course, everybody with brain knew hormuz strait would be closed and it would be impossible to open as long Iran regime exists.

and everybody would guess that a bunch of mosque burners in Iran can never do a regime change, they are hated by everybody in Iran, even people who are not pro-regime.

It's very likely close hormuz strait was the real and only American intention from the beginning.

Like it was USA intention to blow up NordStream in Ukraine war, or put tariffs. The three things serve same economic purpose of disrupt world economy.
