AirPower isn’t going to do it the whole shock and awe thing was done 6 month ago everything now is ok we have seen that one before kind of deal is trump actually willing to do the unthinkable boots on the ground but only thing that would guarantee is years of bloody fighting

There's not enough combat troops in the region. It doesn't matter if there are 50K or even 150K troops over there. Not all are grunts. It's the grunts that are in short supply.

Personally, until I see evidence to the contrary, I suspect Iran is holding back on its actual launch capabilities. They learned a thing or two back when we were Scud hunting nor am I of the belief we've knocked out all of their missile facilities including access.

As for the economic war, it's a question of who is willing to hold out the longest. Political fallout can be a powerful motivator. If you care about it that is.
