Yet US is on the brink of going financially broke

At this rate, I want to believe all this hopium, thats how bad things are today in the oil and US bond markets. Not even joking, this is getting pretty distressed.

The US is nowhere near broke. The US is the wealthiest nation in human history. Growth and job creation remain strong. Stocks are well above prewar levels.

Brent crude is elevated, but these prices aren’t unprecedented. For example, early 2010s crude prices averaged near $110 for 3+ years, and American wages are substantially higher today.

Q3 GDP is tracking towards 4%+ growth the first half of the quarter:

So the $58 trn US bond market guys are stupid and dont know any of this ?
