If ukraine is allowed to use everything it has, Shouldn't that apply for Russia and allow Russia to use its own tactical nukes on the battleground?

Not that i prefer the use of nukes by any state but if everyone takes the gloves off then they shouldn't expect any mercy afterwards.

Well last time I checked Ukraine has no nuclear weapons. If Russia were to respond it should be proportional to what the ukrainians do

Or better yet, Russia could leave Ukraine and the war would end almost immediately

You don't win wars that way. America didn't react proportionally when it dropped nukes on Japan.

Your enemy uses everything they have and you use everything you have thats the way its played. Only reason US hasn't used nukes in Iran is because they don't want Russia using nukes or Pakistan/India using nukes or NK using nukes.

As for nukes, you don't use them like candy. And it wouldn't be used in a vacuum. Radiation dust wouldn't merely stay within Ukraine's border

I couldn't care less what happens in ukraine and russia. whites killing whites is alright with me anyday of the week. Especially if Russia collapses and balkanize then China can seize Siberia. So Russia staying in this war and dependent on China is big win for China.
