US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

War is never fair nor on equal footing.

Yes.

And that is why Iran's approach has been so flawed so far with the USA. It has been trying to fight fairly when the USA has not. That has been their mistake. If they have some common sense, and a sense of survival and learnt anything from the last few rounds, then they will need to raise their game in their approach to the US. If they decide to not, then they should actually surrender because they are wasting everyone's time.

Brother... What are we even talking about here.

There is NO such thing as a FAIR fight in WAR. This is not dueling pistols at 10 paces. Please lets get back to discussing facts and not delve into the realm of fiction and romanticism.

Thanks

Not much we can do. As long as they are in international waters, even if they were in Pakistani waters there is probably still not much we can do....

Seeds of mistrust with Iran were done already by Iranians in Yeman...

Yes, Iran is most certainly provoking/encouraging the Houthi's to attack Saudi and yes that forces Pakistan to defend Saudi for a whole suite of reasons. But, here is the counter question, do we think that MBS encourage the USA to attack Iran ? If so, what was the consequence of that for Iran?

There is of course a lot that we don't know.

Very good point, but if we are being really honest with ourselves, yes apreciate we are mediator and can talk to both Tehran and DC but prior to this Iranians were no saints.
Chahbar, Indian spy, drone of their we shot down then the missile attack on Pakistan as well as BLA hiding there.

I dont want ordainary Iranians to suffer, but if regime and Guards are given a hard slap, weakened and bought down a peg or two will I lose sleep over it? No....

Lots of traffic - via Jordan via Egypt FIR headed to EUROCOM via Ankara currently routed Nicosia FIR (Cyprus).

*NB: There is no ATC in Kabul/Afghanistan. The FIR is controlled via Pakistan and Doha hence you see the point of origin of the flight as over Afghanistan.

Worth keeping an eye in in light of developments in past 48 hours.

Most likely an attempt to coerce/bribe Uzbekistan to try and stop the trainline that carries supplies Iran from China at a guess.

Pakistan has shut its borders, as has Iraq and Türkiye so far. The US is trying to shut all the land borders that Iran has it seems.

Given that Uzbekistan/Turkmenistan/Tajikistan are landlocked countries that rely on Iran over the long run, would be interesting to see if they do anything or not.

This USAF C17 was seen squawking 7700 (General Emergency) enroute to CENTCOM AOR - - now diverting to Incirlik Air Base (TR)

IFE(In Flight Emergency) declared due to lack of diplomatic clearance to use airspace for emergency landing.

Uzbekistan went with the French for Advanced Aircraft snubbing Russia. UAE and France have entered into partnership to jointly work on the Rafael platform.

Ukbeks have a long history of cooperation with the French:

Pakistan has shut its borders due to a combination of reasons 1 being security and smuggling and 2 being the threat of US Sanctions - the US have already fined both the French Air Carrier and Iraqi Governments:

The Turkmen belt is firmly in the Turkish camp and have long standing diplomatic and security cooperation's with the state of Türkiye. However the main wedge here will be Tajik Indo-Iranian relations and how it navigates that.

Don't expect much here... As previous main areas to watch are Iraq, Israel, and GCC nations - your next flashpoint will be via Israel.

Avoid reading too much into this for now but the increased activity of HUSH mission callsigns (normally assigned to B52s) is interesting:

The only caveat here I would add is currently the US is engaged in a GPM (Global Power Mission) an exercise for the readiness of their strategic nuclear assets - so this may not be related to anything to do with Iran/M.E etc.
