The MEME does not specifically reference Trump; it is fact-based and applies to all presidents, not just him.No kidding. Yet, show me a President who HASN'T done that to some degree or another.
I get it that you have a particular hard-on against President Trump. Yet, the facts are with me that you will be hard pressed to name a president since say 1950 who hasn't.
As for the SnapChat scandal, that journalist should have been arrested already for leaking the chat.
I strongly disagree. How can we arrest a journalist for simply doing their job? By what law would this even be justified? In fact, we should be thanking Goldberg for exposing the incompetence and irresponsible behavior of high-ranking government officials, including the Vice President, Secretary of Defense, National Security Adviser, Secretary of State, CIA Director, Director of National Intelligence, and others who were part of that chat.
Journalism plays a crucial role in holding power to account and informing the public about matters that affect us all. Without investigative reporting, many instances of misconduct would remain hidden, allowing those in power to act without consequence. Goldberg's work sheds light on actions that demand scrutiny and accountability, and silencing journalists for doing their job undermines the very principles of democracy and free speech.
