The 10-20k nukes that America had at the peak of cold war was a unsustainable figure and had to be destroyed. It's nothing but fear mongering by Trump.

You can only modify the launch vehicle. Russia is posturing to the Europeans to back off and it doesn't look to be working as Europeans are still mass arming Ukraine. Just recently the UK delivered a large delivery of storm shadow missiles.

Most of the American and Russian nukes are decades old ,... they need to be replaced with newer technology nukes.
 
Trump is an idiot. He can go to any extent and tell any number of lies to try and make a point.

Pakistan would never do a unilateral nuclear test at this time. As this could invite sanctions from the US which is the last thing it would want at this time when Trump is praising them twice everyday. Why spoil the party for f##k sake?

And by now Pakistan's stature as a nuclear power is well established and respected. I still remember in 1998 when President Bill Clinton coming on tv and saying something like 'I know India did first, but two wrong don't make it right. ' just before he imposed sanctions on Pakistan for the May 1998 nuclear tests Pakistan did. Americans also said during those days that they would say that never recognize Pakistan and India as nuclear powers.
As to Trump's video: Not much of concern for Pakistan. I read it as part of Trump's constant boast about preventing a nuclear war between India and Pakistan in May 2025 and also he started the American threat of nuclear testing right after rather humbling trade deal with China a few days ago--it was probably a deflection.

Trump's bringing up Pakistan's nukes only raises Pakistan's profile internationally and should give pause to the Indians about some major conflict.

Credibility reaffirmed - especially to these Indians who literally think that Pakistanis are backwards or lying about having Nuclear Tech. They think very low of Muslims and Pakistanis.

I don't take anything Donald Trump says too seriously. He's the banter President of the USA.
