Thats because Cubans, nicaraguans etc are brainwashed people and mistake the regimes in their homelands for democratic socialism. Castro's regime has had major successes with regards to education and healthcare as well as kicking out the former Batista dictatorship, but socialism BAD!!!

Those groups have escaped communism s. Socialism from their respective homelands. I don't blame them one bit for not wanting to vote for someone who's celebrates Fidel Castro's birthday
The woman who was elected also goes by other DSA political objectives which is to eliminate the United States Senate, the supreme Court, and get rid of all the prisons, thus letting all those people out under the street.
Now obviously they don't have the power to do these things nor will they ever most likely. Nonetheless, the fact that they want to do these things tells me all I need to know
