As he should. As for Biden, his legacy is forever tarnished. The only thing he united was a majority of the country against him. Even his own party instigated a coup to remove him he was that bad. We are fortunate they hitched their saddles to the worst alternate candidate.

His legacy will be the collapse in the trust of many lifelong democrats in the democrat party. Now the democrats will have to try to earn it back.

Agreed. Even now, minority leaders Jeffries and Schumer refuse to admit they misled the public regarding Biden's clear and obvious mental decline. The Democrat Party is currently leaderless.

It's not even been a day yet of Trump 2.0 so I am going to remain optimistic that as long as he doesn't do too much stupid stuff such as invade Canada and instead focuses on delivering the things that matter to average Americans, it will be a long time before a Democrat is in the White House again.
 

ACLU sues Trump administration over birthright citizenship executive order​

The American Civil Liberties Union sued the Trump administration today over Trump's executive order targeting birthright citizenship, it said.

“Denying citizenship to U.S.-born children is not only unconstitutional — it’s also a reckless and ruthless repudiation of American values,” ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero said in a statement. “Birthright citizenship is part of what makes the United States the strong and dynamic nation that it is.”

The Trump administration's order argues the 14th Amendment "has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof.'"

His legacy will be the collapse of the American people's trust in the DemonRat party.

In my area of Oklahoma, for a few years now, no one dares to admit they are Democrats.

An invasion of the Panama Canal Zone seems to be something Trump might do.

The Dems have Bernie, and he may seem even more left wing, but after the next 4 years of Trump, and the billionaire class’s potential exploitation that looks set to ramp up, the people might vote for Bernie or a Bernie like figure.

The people are also tired of the gerontocracy. We need some Gen. X politicians, with some balanced perspective. Maybe that Kentucky Governor (a popular dem) has a chance in 2028 against JD.

For the sake of the country, let’s hope Trump gets it right this time around, and sticks to the constitution like he said he wants to respect in his inaugural speech. 🇺🇸

There will be no invasion of the Canal Zone. Bernie has no chance of being the Democrat nominee. The Democrat elites have made sure of that. Now, someone like AOC, as dumb and radical as she is, she might be in a position to become the nominee. She just needs to quit ranting like some 16 year old yenta going through her period.

Not sure what age you are but I am in my mid 60s. So I've seen and done a lot over the years. And, the one thing I noted even years ago was the gerontocracy and frankly, career politicians. Term limits were imposed on Presidents following the death of FDR and a number of states have adopted the same. The Founders never intended for there to be career politicians. Therefore, there is no reason why Congressmen and women along with Senators should not be subject to the same term limits.

AOC doesn’t really have a chance. Even here in New York, she’s “mid”, not someone to get excited about. Besides , The Dems won’t run a woman the third time round. They need a guy from central casting. Clean cut tall white guy from the Bible Belt. Outside of Obama, the last two dem presidents were southerners. So I think Andy Beshear has a real shot if he runs a his state well the next 4 years. Even his VP might be the Pennsylvania governor, considering the voters dems will try to win back.
