I didn't follow this very closely, why'd she use the slur anyway ? were they threatening her or the kid ?
The incident occurred at a public park in Minnesota, where a white woman was filmed calling a Black five-year-old child the N-word. She accused the child of going through her own child’s diaper bag. When confronted by a bystander, the man who recorded the video, she justified her use of the slur, saying, "If that’s what he’s going to act like."

The child, who is autistic and of Somali heritage, was visibly distressed. She repeated the slur multiple times while making obscene gestures in the video.

Following the viral video, she launched a fundraiser on a Christian crowdfunding platform, claiming she needed to relocate her family for safety reasons, despite there being no reports of any threats against her. It looks like a money-grabbing scam to me. The fundraiser raised over seven hundred thousand dollars, attracting support from individuals espousing white nationalist and far-right rhetoric.

My point of view is that even if the child had done what she accused him of, there is absolutely no justification for using such a slur against a five-year-old. This kind of behavior is despicable and shameless. Even more troubling is the fact that people raised money for her and supported her actions, effectively encouraging obnoxious behavior.

To me, just looking at the photo, she is white trash. Worse, she is teaching her own child that sort of behavior is acceptable.

On the flip side of the coin, how much money has Karmelo Anthony raised for his defense for stabbing a white kid in the heart? It's now over $525K. Not only that, he and his family have gone into hiding over unsubstantiated claims against their safety.

Going to have to disagree here. Having grown up in the late 50s through the race riots of the 60s into the early 70s, it was and very clearly still is the left who are the racists. They are just very very good at making the right out to be the racists. Yet, the facts state otherwise. Allow me to elaborate:

- The Southern Manifesto - this was a document signed by very prominent Southern Democrats that basically affirmed their commitment to segregation and Jim Crow laws. Prominent authors or signatory to the document: William Fulbright, Carl Vinson, Strom Thurmond, and Wilbur Mills.
- George Wallace - one of the biggest racists at the time.
- Civil Rights Act of 1964 - one of the opponents to this was Albert Gore Sr.
- The Ku Klux Klan - that was created by the Democrats shortly after the Civil War. Senator Robert Byrd from West Virginia, whom a number of buildings are named after him, was a Grand Kleagle of the KKK.
- Jim Crow Laws - creation of Southern Democrats
- Voting Rights Act of 1965 - was enacted as a result of on-going Southern Democrat discrimination against black voters.

I know this because I lived in this era. Everything the Democrats have done since then supposedly in protection of black Americans has had the exact opposite effect.

Now, that said, are there extremists on the right? Of course there are. I would be foolish to say otherwise. There is one such person here. Didn't take me long to figure that out.

But to say that a significant portion of racists in America align with the Republican party is simply ignorance without understanding the full context of race relations in this country.
I appreciate your perspective and historical references. I am still a student, and as I continue to read about American history, I find that all the references you provided are absolutely correct. I truly appreciate your honesty.

At the moment, I am a bit busy with the stock market. I used to be an investor, but Trump’s erratic behavior, policies, and statements have disrupted the market. As a result, I have shifted from investing to trading. In this unpredictable market, long-term investments have become risky, and the only way to make money is through short-term trades. I am playing with a small amount of money, using tight stop-loss strategies, because you never know what new statement will come from the White House and shake things up.

I will definitely share my point of view, as I strongly believe that today’s Democratic Party is not the party of the 1960s. I hope you enjoy reading. ;) Lol

Biden has been on the wrong side of every issue for 50+ years. For someone who boldly (stupidly) stated he's the only one to go toe-to-toe with Putin, he sure showed Putin a thing or two in resolving this conflict, didn't he?

Even Obama himself said "don't underestimate Joe's ability to eff things up".

Thank you sir. Appreciate your not conflating our personal petty differences with your pursuit to obtain the truth.

I too am still learning. Imagine my surprise that Carl Vinson, who signed on to the Southern Manifesto, has a carrier named after him.

John Stennis is another. Why?

Remember, it was the left who were in a furor to rename ALL military installations that were named after Confederate leaders? Why? Especially when the Army forgave its most promising leaders at the time for the choices they made.

It's because the left is ashamed of itself. And, rather than confront the reality of what they did to a set of peoples, they chose instead to erase history. Is that to say the names of the people whom the posts are now named for are not as equally deserving? No, not in the least. But to blatantly do away with the history of those whom the posts were originally named is a crime to all.

So why didn't Democrats demand the Stennis and Vinson be renamed?

The names of Benning, Bragg, Hood, and Polk represent some of the finest officers the Army had at the time. If you research carefully, while the North had good officers in its own right, the cream of the officer corps came from the South. Today's Democrats have erased all that to hide their shame.

Erasing history is never wise. Otherwise, we never learn from it.
