This is what it boils down to.
Lost on every one is what has been happening to our neighborhoods once these invaders start moving in.
I once owned own a mobile home in a nice older trailer park. Most of the others were older folks, retired.
Ten years ago, I saw the signs. Immigrants were buying up the cheap older mobile homes and moving in. Knowing what we know now, thanks to D.O.G.E., and what I was observing, the goddamn federal government was using money they take out of my paycheck and took over my neighborhood.
I bailed out, sold my mobile home for $1,400. I put in that much just on redoing the floors, from subflooring up.
Since then, the once peaceful trailer park has been run over by gangbangers, dope fiends, young immigrant families on welfare. They were all Hispanics.
The day I moved out, couldn't back out with my first load for almost an hour because my pickup truck was blocked in from the police dealing with a breaking and entry going on at the time across from my home.
I was the last White man still standing up against what was happening to our trailer park. I was called a racist and other names. Those who agreed with me, were afraid of being called names. Seeing no hope, I bailed.
The park manager who gave me the most grief, not long after I left, wouldn't leave her home. Her trailer used to be the office. Now people pay the lot rent by lock box out in front. And she is rarely seen outside. She used to ride around the park three times a day, visiting. Too scared to do that now.
The older retirees, who cannot afford to move, stay in their trailers. Wondering what happened to their golden years.
And that’s part of the other equation - because you LET EVERYONE in illegally while reserving checks for legals - you are likely getting more skewed towards the worst.
Think about it -
Why do people leave their country?
The educated middle or upper middle class from a country may leave for:
- education
- better employment
- safety and security
They only leave when even in their quasi privileged situation they see opportunities better than what they calculate to achieve back home. These people aren’t desperate to leave unless you’re thinking of an Iraq or Cambodia during Khmer.
However, majority of the time - these people utilize all legal channels - wait years and so on and follow the system.
Between them there are categories too - there are those here for education - likely more to blend in - those here for employment - probably blend in.
Then you have chain migration - DJTs in-law variety - within this you do find the medicaid variety. And also to my experience (and annoyance) people who don’t participate in society. This is more so from chain migrated older people compared to younger generation but it’s still there.
Legal migration involves thorough background checks, interviews, and documentation, acting as a natural filter against those with criminal histories. The rigorous, often years-long process attracts individuals with long-term goals education, employment, or family reunification. These migrants demonstrate patience, stability, and a genuine commitment to contributing to society.
In contrast, illegal migration lacks these safeguards. When borders are porous, it opens the door to anyone good or bad without distinction. While not all illegal migrants have criminal intent, the absence of vetting increases the risk of admitting those who might threaten safety and security. Desperation, which often drives illegal migration, can correlate with less scrupulous backgrounds or, at a minimum, a willingness to circumvent legal norms.
Moreover, desperation can lead to exploitation. Many illegal migrants fall victim to human traffickers and cartels, arriving under dire circumstances financially, emotionally, and physically broken. This contrasts sharply with legal immigrants who typically arrive with a plan, a job, or an educational opportunity and a clearer path to integrating into their new communities.
So I sympathize with you because what you’re facing are people whom you have no filter on - after all when the Irish and Italians landed enmasse there was no filter as well so we got the mob and white brits hated them as well.
Now let’s give you a different scenario - instead of the gang members and so on. You got hispanic educated middle class or even older people - from families that either spoke English or learned it - people who shared food - celebrated thanksgiving - set up neighborhood watches. Took care of their neighbors - what then?
