My wife always says, if you want the US Federal Government to do something, the best way is to sue them til it worked, it's the only option that make them jump the red tape.

I have been to Christmas hundreds of times and was actually in detention center with my wife when she was working with refugee case since early 2010s. It's more like summer camp than Prison.

Also, the El Salvado deal is targeted and purely commercial, Trump could have set up camp in any of the US territories (for example, Puerto Rico, which is cheaper and closer than Salvador, or US Virgin Island, or even at the actual Gitmo Naval Base) in exchange of Federal Money, but they didn't that's because these are "deals" he made with that government. Not because of any kind of treatment he wants those people to go thru, regardless of class.
