USA Weather Alert and Warnings Thread

I was under the impression @Meengla is originally from Karachi. Sounds likes he's not a fan of Karachi weather period.
There is nothing to like about Karachi TBH, but for me Florida weather reminds me of somewhat like Karachi hence I get accumulated easily, some weeks are still colder than Karachi which is fine by me, but after 3-4 days of Temp like 5C to 0C I am like ok we are done here lets get that sun back up lol
like this Monday I went to Honeymoon State Park in Dunedin and the weather was nice, sun was up and little breeze but water was cold, but not much people even on the main beach area.

Oh hell no! I am also a born and raised Karachiite and there is no way I would have wished for the winter in Karachi to shorten!! You probably need some fat under your skin, bro! Hahaha!

Don't get too confused by the gator meat; it might be, at worst, a 'makrooh' meat like some say shrimps are. I don't think there is anything in the scriptures/religious directive against gator meat.
Try gator: 'Tastes like chicken'!
I mean what do you expect from a 152lbs guy lol I don't hate winter or cold, I kinda enjoy it as long i don't have to go work, i can stay at home with heater on, maybe make some Chai or chicken soup, and watch some movie that's awesome but when i have to go work yeah that's annoying if cold wind hit you like bricks.

I am pretty sure I looked into Gator meat ruling and I think its considered Haram, I know various school of thoughts have different position on sea creatures like Shrimp or crab or crawfish, etc but honestly even if it was allowed I would not have eaten it, I am very picky eater. I like chicken/Meat/ beef and Lamb (If cooked properly). Not a big fan of sea food, like I can eat shrimps again if cooked properly and there is no distinct smell left but its never my first choice.

Ok, I'm trying to decide if it is Starlord or me who is guilty of trying to steer this into a "What's for Dinner?" thread.
I mean I just break my fast like 40 mins ago, so yes I will steer the conversation towards food lol its Ramadan after all and we are hungry hahah

I think you are in Tampa area, which is colder than Miami area, well 'cooler' at least. Miami is stinky hot like Karachi unless right at the beach but FL has two large bodies of water around it--the Gulf and the Atlantic--so more moderate summer than Karachi, however Karachi gets not only much hotter in summer but also much colder in winter than Miami when you move a little distance from the beaches; lowest recorded is 32 F/ 0 C in Karachi, and thats the warmest city of Pakistan!!

But almost all of FL has delightful winter season!! As does Karachi! When I was in Skardu some six months ago, the locals were just in love with Karachi winter and wished they could afford to getaway from the coldest city of Pakistan (Skardu) to the warmest city of Pakistan (Karachi) in winter but $$ was the concern for them.

As I said, have some fat under your skin! 152 and I think you are quite tall too!! Damn, Karim Abdul Jabbar! LOL!
And unless you are doing construction work, why would 40+ temp bother you in your 'winter', ha?!

You ain't no Karachiite!

Oh come on, 6'2 is not tall its pretty common to see tall guys here, heck i met guys that are same height as i am but weight twice but age around 22-26... puberty hit different here lol
Nah not in construction but i usually walk around my office building during my breaks/lunch time, now at 3-4 am in the morning the cold breeze doesn't feel good.

its going to be cold again this Monday-Wed ugh

Yeah its the classic case of getting tired of the weather you grow up in, when I visited Naran/Kaghan with my ex-wife, I talked to locals and they would love to be in Karachi and I was like Karachi is trash, you guys live in literally a place as beautiful as heaven. But those areas has its own issue, back in 2019 i was kinda shocked to hear that most of hotels in Naran uses Generators because there was no electricity there.

A nice warmer Feb. four years ago, these wild turkeys landed outside the house. I don't think we are supposed to hunt them but where we live, who's watching??!! A little blurred because taken through a window.

Just before Thanksgiving, behind grocery store, was held up by a group of Turkeys on my way home.
